“You know I had to do it to em” is one of those memes that became iconic because it feels like there’s a whole story behind it, even though nobody really knows what that story is. In 2014, Twitter user Lucky Luciano posted a photo of himself standing on a sidewalk with the caption: “You know I had to do it to em.” No explanation. No setup. Just pure unexplained confidence. The photo was rediscovered years later and turned into a Photoshop meme, with people placing him into random moments in history, movies, games, and disasters like he had somehow been responsible for everything. Nobody knows what he had to do. But he had to do it to em.

HC: first of all, jeno is a huge homebody. he really likes working out. so even when we’re at a hotel, it seems like he only goes out to exercise. The Olympics are letting him fight as a woman. Look at the photos below. He’s not even trying to look like a woman. This is pure lunacy. Even at 5’ 9” and 112 pounds, Lin towers over most of his opponents. To me, it looks like he wants to beat on women and fears fighting men. I’m 6’2” and 185 pounds. I think Lin should try an MMA fight against someone my size and see how he likes it. We all know he’s too scared to do that though. The The Olympic Games should be ashamed for allowing this theft of opportunity and achievement for women.
