There is just a question about having a future question. She stacked the deck in favour of "Stay in Canada." Independende must now win two majorities years apart to even begin the process. Smith’s 2-part strategy solves nothing. Even if Albertans vote against a second, binding referendum, it’s not over. Her party’s dominant separatist wing will still be there, still be agitating and pressuring her to try again. The only answer ultimately, is to kick out the UCP.
