So maybe they didn't shoot down the drones and started an investigation because it would reveal that the drones were not from their favorite man to hate? Without an investigation they can continue the betray on the Danish people and the lies of a threat "from outside" can continue, so the Danish people don't see that the real threat is "from inside"! Since the very beginning, the way his shirt to me did not in any way match what would happen being shot with a bullet. This is why the shaped charge theory has legs. It completely fits what happens under his shirt and that is before you dig into the plant in Tennesee that exploding a month later killing 16 people.
