Danny Kruger MP (Danny Kruger) explains that people with Down's syndrome may interpret a doctor's discussion of assisted suicide as a suggestion and therefore may be influenced to "choose" it because of this suggestion.

@danny__kruger rThis is appalling and this whole process needs to end now! None of these MP's were elected to play God!

@danny__kruger And it's an immoral piece of legislation that is not needed. At every turn, safeguarding issues have been sidelined and dismissed. These people need to be arrested

@danny__kruger Not just those with Down's syndrome. A doctor is in a position of trust. If he suggests AD as an option, he is saying to a vulnerable person he thinks their life is no longer worth living. It is a coercive suggestion which breaks the bond of trust between doctor & patient.

@danny__kruger The slippery slope.

Call it what it is - Leadbetter's bill is a LICENCE to MURDER by the state and nothing else. IT FITS IN WITH THE NARRATIVE STARMER IS CARRYING OUT. STARMER CONTINUES ridding the country of the NON HEALTHY/NON WEALTHY WORKING UNITS. 2,727,274 people DELIBERATELY SLAUGHTERED & RISING via Death Will Prevail (DWP) POLICIES + NHS Underfunding + Delayed Cancer Care, Covid + Energy Bills + Water & now ENFORCED EUTHANASIA.

@danny__kruger This is exactly right. And suicide is much cheaper than healthcare. If the Down's syndrome person believes they are a burden to loved ones, this also would influence them.

@danny__kruger Isn’t that just medical coercion?

@danny__kruger Not just those with Down’s syndrome. Many older people trust what a doctor may say especially if not given good palliative care as an alternative.

@danny__kruger Thank God for Danny Kruger. Government can never be trusted with anyones health (as we experienced with the plandemic) it can never be trusted with assisted dying. This bill should be scrapped @kimleadbeater it's malevolent.

@danny__kruger I fear the elderly and vulnerable may be easily influenced by suggestion.
