✨Danny McBride's Closet Picks! ✨

Him saying "we" instead of "me" when referencing creative endeavors tells you everything you need to know about Mr. McBride. GOAT.

I would pay an alarming amount of money for Criterion releases of Eastbound & Down, Vice Principals or The Righteous Gemstones. Just saying…..

Lovely pics. I liked his explanations of how movies like Face in the Crowd and Five Easy Pieces informed Eastbound and Down.

When you decide to start randomly grabbing movies off the shelf, and the first one you get is a Kurosawa 🔥

Manila in the Claws of Light is an absolute life-changing film from Lino Brocka. What an incredible blind-pick! lol. One of the best films from the Philippines I've ever seen!

YES WE NEED MORE PEOPLE TO TALK ABOUT HOW GOOD A FACE IN THE CROWD IS PLEASE AND THANK YOU!!!

Criterion edition of Tropic Thunder please and thank you

I would pay for a Criterion release of vice principles just so I could hopefully finally find out why there is a framed picture of my childhood elementary school from the tiny town I grew up in in North Carolina in one of the scenes 😂

so cool that he picked out Fantastic Planet

My guy 💪

holy shit Danny McBride knows "I am Cuba" this man might rlly be the goat

Just hit play on Badlands because of his list

Danny McBride? More like Danny Underrated

Saw this man at the Hot Tub Time Machine premiere. He was alone, he didn’t talk to anyone, he snatched 2 free popcorns & a Diet Coke off a table & left without watching the movie.

I thought it was Danny Masterson. I was like, they let him out?

@ZollyBBecker Great selects

BADLANDS.

I stan for the way he pronounces Criterion

I concur with Badlands. It’s one of the most beautiful films ever made. Terrence Malick is a true genius. Badlands is a masterpiece.

You should start a series just like this but it’s just closeted gay actors coming out.

Great selects except for Manila: In the Claws of Light. I would return,refund or destroy it. Such a terrible film in my opinion.

Met him in 2015, insanely nice guy for the five mins we talked. It isn't not long enough to get to know the guy but he didn't have to be as nice as he was to a star-struck B&N employee.

He loves naturalist acting but then released Righteous Gemstones. The most wacky often times unnecessary acting I saw in a grip

Danny McBride is a LEGEND

@Winston_Wolfe Great note on him being a second assistant director on the film George Washington

Hell yeah, dude loves Soy Cuba 🫡

Yes! Badlands is so good. Great cinematography for its time

Is he the prick who was responsible for “Evil dies tonight”? If so he can die in a fire

All pretty refreshing picks tbh

Started listening to his book yesterday. Brilliant!!🤩

FIVE EASY PIECES finally thank GOD

@Cweaver1037

I am Cuba?

Danny McBride? Creator of the Draven, Danny McBride?
