I have a question, physics students please help me out So you know how each passenger on an airplane has a parachute, why can’t they make a very big parachute that can carry the entire plane when it wants to crash? 🤔

@AjeboDanny Have you considered the weight of the parachute itself added inside an airplane it should weight more than the whole passenger plus the plane containment. The weight of the parachute alone would be about the weight of the total plane

@AjeboDanny For the passengers in this plane (part of the plane) to survive, the front end should be tightly shut using another modified auto-operated gate. Otherwise, every one will be dead, before reaching the ground, due to the piercing pain of air gushing into the plane.
