Club statement on tonights cancelled match against Gorleston FC Supporters Club Gorleston Football Club We’re incredibly disappointed that tonight’s fixture against Gorleston was unable to go ahead. A lot of hard work goes into preparing for a game — from the players and staff to everyone behind the scenes, on top of that, a 3 or for some, 4 hour drive one way — and we know many of you were looking forward to it just as much as we were. We also understand the frustration this causes for supporters who had planned their evening around the match and had also bought tickets and driven all that way to support their team, only to be turned away as soon as they arrived. We know you’ll have questions, we have read a lot of the social media posts and comments aimed towards Gorleston Fc, and we want to be as transparent as possible. We want you to know the reason the game was called off was because of one man, and one man only. Things are not always as they seem, please give Gorleston FC a break. Another opportunity to gather information today. We can not continue to focus on NPK only and loading the system up to magical ppm levels, and then wonder how we are going survive. We need to focus on a season long approach with those fertilizer dollars. How do we feed the back half as well or better than the first half of the growing season? I’m Not saying NPK is not important to your success as it is. But the big 3 can’t be the only focus. Do you Audit your fertilizer program? I feel we should all be asking ourselves these questions. As change is needed.
