Meanwhile, on your watch since 2019, most Illinois public-school kids still aren’t proficient. NAEP… the test that doesn’t get rewritten when scores look bad…. shows about 30% of fourth graders proficient in reading and 38% in math. Eighth graders are only around one-third proficient in either subject. Your own state test looked better in 2025 after Illinois lowered the score needed to count as “proficient.” If the standard is “Illinois children deserve better,” start with the system you actually run. Bailey’s academy isn’t why two-thirds of eighth graders aren’t NAEP-proficient in reading and math. That’s the record you own!! PRITZKER IS A FAILED GOVERNOR WHO HAS NO SOLUTIONS FOR TAX PAYING CITIZENS OF ILLINOIS!!

At least history and science would be taught, whether it be exaggerated or not. Actually, how do any of us REALLY know the truth about history and science? I'm sure much has been exaggerated as well as much has been left out. Be that as it may, these teachings would be more honest and less confusing then your curriculum filled with gender and trans teachings, the hate ideology you encourage, and pitting black against white. I'll take Bailey's curriculum over yours any day.
