Here are The Facts: Follow for more and tag when facts are needed. Motorcyclist Dies in 100-Foot Fall After Collision on Tampa Overpass Eric Lee Jordan (35-year-old motorcyclist who died, from Riverview, riding a Yamaha) Aaron James Davis (29-year-old second motorcyclist, from Riverview, riding a Kawasaki) Amy Renee Jones (30-year-old passenger on Davis’s motorcycle, from Dover) February 15, 2019 (Friday afternoon, approximately 3:33 p.m.) Interstate 4 (I-4) near the 50th Street overpass, Tampa, Florida (eastbound lane, west of the overpass) Facts: Two motorcycles collided while traveling eastbound on I-4, weaving through traffic. Eric Lee Jordan’s Yamaha clipped the back tire of Aaron James Davis’s Kawasaki, causing the crash. Jordan lost control, struck the south shoulder barrier wall, and was thrown over the overpass. Jordan fell approximately 100 feet onto 50th Street below. He was transported to Tampa General Hospital but died from his injuries shortly after. Aaron James Davis pulled over briefly after the crash, looked down from the overpass, then fled the scene. Amy Renee Jones, Davis’s passenger, remained at the scene and spoke to troopers, claiming she "barely knew" Davis. The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) classified the incident as a hit-and-run due to Davis’s departure. Video evidence circulating online showed the motorcyclists weaving through traffic prior to the collision. Davis later contacted authorities on February 16, 2019, after a public appeal by the FHP. Jordan and Davis were friends, according to Jordan’s family, ruling out road rage as a motive. Jordan had been riding motorcycles for only about a year, suggesting possible inexperience. The FHP is investigating the cause of the crash, with charges against Davis pending further review. The investigation was ongoing at the time of the initial report’s publication (February 15, 2019) and remained active as of February 16, 2019. adjustments!

This is yet another reason why I won’t ride motorcycles and let my family ride them. There is zero allowance for any mistake.

I loath bikers. Everyone of them is a cunt that thinks the road belongs to them.
