AI, data centers, national security, none of it works without power. You can’t plug massive data centers into local grids anymore. It drives energy prices up for hospitals, homes, and entire communities. Permits get denied. Projects die. The only solution right now is building power generation alongside data centers, fast, reliable, and scalable. Natural gas is the bridge. Nuclear is too slow. China understands this. They build first and ask questions later. If we don’t fix permitting and power generation quickly, we fall behind... economically, technologically, and strategically. This isn’t political. It’s reality.

WOW 🚨 Illinois resident says everyone showed up to their City Council meeting to oppose 14 data centers being built She said so many people showed up to oppose it, it took 6 hours with public comments At the end Democrats didn’t care and UNANIMOUSLY VOTED TO APPROVE THEM “I just spent six hours at a city council meeting — where they were discussing the 14 data centers they're gonna build in my city. And public comment went on for hours and hours and hours of people telling them how badly our community does not need this, and how detrimental it will be to the people, the wildlife, the health, the everything, all of the negative impacts of the data centers. We told them, and we told them over and over and over again, and then at the end, after sitting here for six hours, telling them this is not what we want — they unanimously voted yes for the data centers in our face”

Saying "NO AI data centers" won't end in victory. They'll just build them anyways. If you truly want to make a difference, you need to say, "No data centers, UNLESS..." Turn it into a negotiation instead of a war, so we can fight over what really matters. No data centers UNLESS they're not draining our energy. In fact, you could say, "you want 10 gigawatts of power? Ok, YOU pay for it. And because we’re allowing you to do it, you have to produce 15 gigawatts of power and give the excess to the grid." It's a win-win and YOU control the terms.

Everyone is talking about data centers but haven’t seen anyone talking about these humanoid robots. As for data centers, I’m guessing it would take a lot of computing power to run millions of these every day & replace most jobs. Might be happening quicker than we anticipated.

Secretary of Energy Chris Wright says data centers are “The biggest force we have right now to stop the rise of electricity prices and ultimately to drive them down” - American have been seeing increases of 27-42% on their electric bills - 267% electric bill increases have been reported right next to data centers in places like Baltimore and Northern Virginia Also I looked into how data centers can lower prices and really it comes down to them using so much power they build more energy sources So this doesn’t sound good…
