Data centers should not be able to pass their costs on to customers. Our new Bipartisan American Affordability and Jobs Act would make that the law, not a suggestion.

Lol quick pivot to a bill that can't pass after blocking the data center accountability bill that passed in the House 417-3. You guys are so deeply unserious.

Hypocrite Heinrich proudly voted for the Inflation Creation Act, supported Biden importing poverty in the form of 20+ million illegals, and has been in the Senate for 75% of the national debt.

You just stopped the bill...you must be in bed with the data centers.

You voted to keep allowing senators to inside trade though. Really looking out for Joe Sixpack and not just lining your pockets. 🙄

You are a clown, the bill was very specific in the fact that they would have to pay for whatever the infrastructure it took to power the operation. You are the second worst Senator in NM history, your buddy Ben Ray is the worst, you should hope he doesn’t die.

You nuts forced us to finance intermittent energy generation, though. Suddenly you’re concerned? I’m shocked.

You caused a bill on the senate floor on this issue to not pass. You say it is toothless. You want big government to tell the states what to do rather then give firm guidelines to states and allow the people to apply the pressure. Why did you stall this being the lone hold out when such controversy regarding data centers in NM? Are in bed with the data centers too? Resign in disgrace

Liar

Yet we are forced to fund illegals in a sanctuary state.

We were at one of your first fundraisers at a home in the South Valley, before you were elected into office. That Martin we met and spoke with is not the same person you are today. You should be ashamed of yourself for allowing the DSA to takeover. We're voting red this year!

Under what constitutional authority?

You KILLED the same bill today, asswipe. You folks are pathetic.

PNM should not be able to pass costs onto their customers, either. 🤡

The Senate’s new bipartisan “permitting reform” bill, the Bipartisan American Affordability and Jobs Act of 2026, rewrites major environmental protections and restricts citizens’ ability to challenge harmful projects in court. Call your Senators & say NO!: (202) 224-3121

Doesn’t every business pass costs to customers. That is the capital business model.

Data centers, when the terms of operation are properly negotiated, deliver high paying jobs, philanthropy in the community and gusher of tax revenues while the operator brings their own power or protects rate payers from electricity increases. And use less water than a car wash.

Your fellow NM dems pockets are full from @Oracle

You actually think we need more laws..

Make sure you state any AI or SI

SHOW US...YOU ALL THROW OUT UNSUBSTANTIATED COMMENTS SIT DOWN WITH ORACLE AND ASK ABOUT 1. CLOSED LOOP water 2. Power by Bloom energy. ENLIGHTEN YOURSELVES and the people yu r bullshitting with ignorance ..RATS

@EnergyDems Then why did you vote against the Ratepayer Protection Act?

Socialist ass says what?

Aren't electricity rates set by the States?

Hmmmm! Two face MF. GFY!

my bill has doubled- I hope you guys actually fix this instead if just being pussies and talking about it

I guess you're an all or nothing kind of guy. No way but your way. You're a part of the problem not the solution. You blocked a House-passed alternative (Ratepayer Protection Act) for only directing states to consider cost allocation standards, arguing it lacked enforcement teeth amid AI-driven demand pushing electricity prices higher. Why are you federalizing state responsibilities?
