These companies need to be forced to pay every compromised account because they are responsible for securing our data. This was 💯 % preventable.

IF this pans out.... WHOSE EFFING DATABASE WAS IT?! No one is saying this. These companies certainly don't share this info on one database... seems like that info would be proprietary. So who collects data about internet users of these sites? Like ONE big central...repository....
