Our team put a lot of work into this year’s script trying to make Jonathan cry. It’s our test to see if it’s going to be a good challenge. But it wasn’t our words that got to him this year. Our good friend is coming from Texas for a visit this Saturday for a week. He’s the friend who gave us Rocky, our one male dog in the five dog pack. He was just too big and strong for him to handle at his age. As difficult as it was for the first few months, to associate him with our pack, he is the best dog you could ever want. I wouldn’t trade him for the world, even though he had me dropping F-bombs frequently. He is the most gentle and loving dog in the world and he literally lets his sister and the other dogs boss him around even though he is so much bigger and stronger. He loves them and is always looking out for them. He shadows me everywhere. I love him. I cannot wait to see his reaction when he sees our friend again. He’s going to be so happy. I might cry. I told him that he would never find a better home than ours and we are so happy he is here. Sometimes life surprises you. I would have never guessed we would have five dogs and become a mini dog rescue, but as I often tell people, you never know where you’ll be in five years. Leave your heart open to change and see what God will do. Here’s a video of my boy playing with his “tug of war” blanket. He would constantly put it on like a shirt.😁

Robert De Niro originally wanted to play Max Cherry in Jackie Brown, the role that eventually went to Robert Forster. However, Quentin Tarantino had written the role with Forster in mind and had already promised him the part. Tarantino explains… “I wrote Jackie Brown, and I decided at some point in writing the script that Robert Forster would be terrific as Max Cherry. So, while I’m still writing the script, I bump into Robert Forster - we go to the same coffee shop. ….so I decided I’m gonna give him the part, because I figure, look, this would be a big, big deal part. So if I don’t give him the part, then once I’m done with it and it gets out in the town, then it’s gonna be Gene Hackman and Paul Newman and people like that, and it would be pretty hard to say no to. But if I just give him the part right now, I’ve got the juice to get it through, and now I can’t take it back because I wouldn’t be a man of my word. So to lock myself into that decision, I give it to him before I finish writing it. And then now comes the time to do it. Robert De Niro reads it, and he wants to be in it, but he wants to play Max. And I go, “Well, look, you would be a fantastic Max, but I’ve already given that to Robert Forster, and I’m a man of my word. Here is my last point on Kimmel. If Kimmel came on and apologized like this the day after his remarks he probably wouldn’t have been suspended. But by all accounts he wanted to double down. Again for the billionth time this isn’t a free speech issue. He works for Mickey Mouse on NETWORK TV. Nobody said he was going to jail. He was dealing with the consequences of making off color jokes about the murder of a guy who meant a ton to a ton of people and blamed it on the very people who love him the most before the body was even cold. So yeah there was outrage that Mickey had to deal with. Then the pendulum swung the other way and they put him back on air. Either way it was never a free speech issue. When you work for somebody else and you offend a ton of people you deal with the consequences. Him framing this as free speech is a joke.

He became the top scorer in his first season, and this year, I think he will be again. That's a bonus, not only for him but for everyone else in the team. These days, you know, if one player doesn’t run (pointing out to another player) it is ok, but when several players don’t, it weighs heavily. If Kylian does it, it really helps the team. ” If Fran Garcia wanted to make a statement then i think it would be better for him to do it face to face with his teammate - Kylian Mbappe, instead of creating another drama for press because haters got their food now and it is very unprofessional and unnecessary. The striker you are asking to defend is a top scorer in la liga and UCL, he is doing his job properly while i can’t say the same about defenders, if you want the striker to help with defence, then it will be fair to ask Fran Garcia to help with scoring too, otherwise i don’t think it is a fair point. He thought we were all so weak and cowardly that he could roll in there. He thought Ukrainians wouldn't put up a fight, we wouldn't help Ukrainians, and that would be the end of the story. Sanctions serve two purposes. They can either serve as a deterrent, or they can be used as a punishment. The problem is that we didn't use them as a deterrent, and so now we have to use them as a punishment. But when you punish people, you've got to punish them a hundred times harder than you have to deter them. And so, it's kind of too late. Too late in the sense that there are hundreds of thousands of dead Ukrainians who didn't have to be dead if we had been more robust, if we hadn't been concierges to Russian oligarchs.

Yesterday's April Fools Video - Behind the Scenes This was so much fun making this video with calpinoper ✈️ Seattle-DC-Portland-SF Sep25/Oct10 where we swapped clothes in between takes in order to pull this one off. Here's a little snippet of what is what like filming this, and this only represents a taste of the 7 min video about to be released on both of our of's. In between takes when I was giving direction on the shoot, this sneaky fucker would sneak in some tickles while I was restrained and would turn into a full-blown tickle session. But before I jumped in the stocks to "become" MASTER MAX he was dressed as the legend and I would genuinely tickle Cal in order to get authentic reactions, and of course I would get carried away and it turned into a full on tickle torment for poor Cal. Look out for the full 7 min video which includes tickling scenes of both of us as well as the outtakes which made this a blast to make.

This gentleman was finishing a plowing job for a paying customer when he noticed an elderly man shoveling his own driveway. The elderly man looked exhausted even though he still had so much more to do. The gentleman decided to offer his services free of charge, he already had all the equipment ready and it wouldn’t be any trouble for him to do this drive as well free of charge. We should always look for for our neighbors in the winter, not all of them have the ability to shovel all the heavy snow, would you do this too?

I would only blame myself if someone kept taking food off of my plate and eating it. It’s because I didn’t set clear boundaries at all. To be honest I couldn’t even be mad about this because it would be my fault this even happened. But you know very well I’m going to learn my lesson. She obviously is very comfortable doing this, he doesn’t seem to be firm about not letting her do it, the only one he can be mad at is himself. I think he will think twice about continuing to let her get away with it. Years ago, my brother used to do this to me and when I confronted him he laughed but he never stopped doing it, it got old really quick, I was annoyed because it felt like a bullying tactic. It got to the point one day that i had had enough, I made my plate and I dumped a bunch of salt into it knowing he was going to try to eat my food. After one bite he spit it out and he learned his lesson. He never did it again. But he still got mad I did it. Personally I think he was more mad he got caught if anything. I think a simple solution is to double order, that way if someone eats all my food I still have a back up, that could work right? But a part of me feels like that shouldn’t even be necessary. What would you do if someone kept eating off your plate? Would you put your foot down or just stay silent in hopes they don’t do it again. I think I am going to start just smoking more meat on the grill and keeping that up. I always make so much and if people wanna have some I still have plenty.

Not only can they take the punishment so well, they’re also just really fun to talk to about cars and shit. This was Andre first time in a tickle chair (and hopefully not the last) and wow did he manage to take it like a champ. Robert Kennedy went onto the streets of Indianapolis. He was a candidate for president at that time and it was very, very dangerous, frankly, for him to be out there. But he insisted on going, and he spoke to the crowd and he finished and I wanted to share this. He finished with a poem by Aeschylus, the ancient Greek poet. And it was, “even in our sleep pain which cannot forget falls drop by, drop upon the heart, until in our own despair, against our will comes wisdom through the awful grace of God.” The question is, have we seen enough to embrace wisdom here and recognize that this is not a path that we want to go as a country? And let's be clear, I heard what those folks said. We've had political assassinations of Democrats and Republicans of the left and the right. This is not something that is exclusive to one or the other, but I will say, if we continue to embrace this notion that if we disagree that we're not only political opponents, but you are an enemy, you are an evil. You want to destroy the country. You want to destroy our way of life. That is a prescription for disaster.”
