The officer lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a utility pole. The officer, who was grazed in the right eye, exited the cruiser and returned fire. Both the officer and Harden were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Harden was charged with attempted second-degree murder of a law enforcement officer, among other charges.
