Let’s put aside that the hat looks really stupid, what Axelrod fails to digest is that the only reason Donald Trump exists is because the Democrats suck that bad. And based on “the bench” coming into the midterms, they suck even worse.

IMO since it's his second term, Trump doesn't really care if he takes the whole party down with him. He's made his billions through hook or by crook. The question is when will the rank and file Republicans abandon him? It's certainly "break glass" time for the GOP.

The problem is that there are as many nuts in the Democrat Party as there are in the Republican Party. My fear is that when the Democrats get in, their main focus will be retribution. Instead , they need to help the American people. That should be priority number one.
