What a great speaking voice Bowie had. Could have had a great career doing books on tape/David Attenborough type voice overs if he wasn’t so damn busy putting out great music.

Bowie was so good at accents! I think he said he could pick up any accent within moments of hearing it: Doing random accents (pt. 1 of 3): and have you seen this? David Bowie Impersonates... where in 1985 he sings like Bruce Springsteen, Marc Bolan, Tom Waits, Lou Reed, Anthony Newley, Iggy Pop, and Neil Young. I think his Bolan, Reed, and Pop are especially so spot-on it's shocking!

Anyone reckon Mick Jagger remembers taking this picture? 🤔 Back in the 80s, we featured on a number of music videos as extras. After seeing Rich on set with David Bowie, Mick Jagger decided he’d like to use us for the "She's The Boss" album. So we both got the gig with Mick Jagger… this particular photo was taken behind the Savoy in London.
