What a great speaking voice Bowie had. Could have had a great career doing books on tape/David Attenborough type voice overs if he wasn’t so damn busy putting out great music.

Bowie was so good at accents! I think he said he could pick up any accent within moments of hearing it: Doing random accents (pt. 1 of 3): and have you seen this? David Bowie Impersonates... where in 1985 he sings like Bruce Springsteen, Marc Bolan, Tom Waits, Lou Reed, Anthony Newley, Iggy Pop, and Neil Young. I think his Bolan, Reed, and Pop are especially so spot-on it's shocking!

What a superb, erudite, quite brilliant human being.

David Bowie knew Mick Jagger very well from the time of Ziggy Stardust, and it seems that they had a very close relationship.
