After several years of declining search traffic, Condé Nast CEO Roger Lynch has directed all the company's brands to operate as if search traffic to their properties will be zero. He says the era of turning search and social media traffic into profitable businesses is gone. A group of Turning Point USA high schoolers here in Alabama got to their high school early and prayed for the nation. While the left encourages our youth to riot and ditch class, we as Christians encourage them to put their faith in God. It's the only way that we can build strong men and women, and it's the only way that we can save our country. I'm very proud that Alabama gets it.

The arrangements on the flight were very good. We were disappointed only at Delhi Airport. We had a few students from Maharashtra with us, and their representatives had come there. Hotels were booked for them and their tickets were booked for evening...But for us, SRTC buses in poor condition were parked outside...So, in emergency, we had to book our own tickets at 4 times the price because we booked tickets at just two hours before (the flight)...It feels good to be back with our family..."

Ford CEO Jim Farley on why it's so difficult for legacy car companies to get software right & why Tesla’s vertically integrated approach is the right one: “We farmed out all the modules that control the vehicles to our suppliers because we could bid them against each other, so Bosch would do the body control module, someone else would do the seat control module, someone else would do the engine control module. We have about 150 of these modules with semiconductors all through the car. The problem is the software are all written by you know 150 different companies and they don't talk to each other. So even though it says Ford on the front, I actually have to go to Bosch to get permission to change their seat Control software. So even if I had a high-speed modem in the vehicle and and I had the ability to write their software, it's actually their IP and I have 150, we call it the loose Confederation of software providers, 150 completely different software programming languages, you know all the structure of the software is different. It’s millions of code and we can't even understand it all. That's why at Ford we've decided in the second generation product to completely insource electric architecture. To do that you need to write all the software yourself, but just remember car companies have never written software like this, ever, so we're literally writing how the vehicle operates the software to operate the vehicle for the first time ever.” via Everything Electric Show:

Turkish President Erdogan: The Kurds in Syria are our own brothers and sisters. As their brothers and sisters, we know best what kind of oppression our Kurdish brothers and sisters in Syria were subjected to under the previous tyrannical regime. Their existence was not recognised, they were not accepted as citizens, they were not even given identity cards. They were not allowed to speak their mother tongue or preserve their culture and traditions. As Prime Minister, I raised these injustices in all my meetings starting in 2008. We persistently brought up the rights of our Kurdish brothers and sisters in Syria. We emphasised at every opportunity that the Kurds must be granted their fundamental rights. When no one else would even mention these issues, we openly expressed the rights of the Kurds in Syria to our counterparts.

It’s unfortunate. They didn’t give us an explanation on what it was. We clearly saw on our iPads what it was, so probably disagreed with that. I thought that those were momentum-changing decisions and I thought that our team had to battle through that, and we didn’t do as well as we could.”
