Why would anyone pay for a company to buy a car and then give them the autonomy to control it in an emergency, given that the government doesn't buy the car? Whoever buys will pay for it. In that case, why would we give control of the assets we pay for to other people? I remember the owner of Tesla mentioning that in an interview.
