42 years ago, I performed in Dallas, Texas, at my very first Republican National Convention. Never could I have imagined that all these years later, I would have the privilege of performing for the 45th and 47th President of the United States at the first-ever midterm convention. To still be standing on this stage, singing a song that has meant so much to our country for more than four decades, is something I will never take for granted. It is truly an honor of a lifetime. God Bless the USA! #GodBlessTheUSA

In March 1940, months after the Soviets invaded Poland alongside the Nazis, Beria proposed liquidating nearly 26,000 prisoners for the purpose of eliminating officers, police, and the educated class, so Poland could never rebuild its military or intellectual leadership. Stalin signed it off and they were marched into the forest, shot one by one, and dumped in mass graves at Katyn and other sites. When German soldiers uncovered the graves in 1943, Moscow immediately pinned the killings on the Nazis and Soviet prosecutors even tried to enter the massacre as a German war crime at Nuremberg. Communist regimes in Poland and the USSR locked the lie in as settled history until 1990, when as the Soviet system collapsed, Gorbachev admitted the NKVD carried out the killings on Stalin’s direct order. And Russia’s parliament confirmed it again in 2010.

👤 something that made me feel like you two are genuinely close is hoshi posted a photo he took of the both of you. but it was taken one-sidedly by hoshi and it felt like woozi just happened to be in frame. what’s the reason for that? 🐯 he doesn’t take selfies at all! not even mirror selfies! so i go to him quietly to take pictures and i take them secretly too 👤 like for fanservice? so then woozi doesn’t get mad about it? he doesn’t go like “don’t take a picture!”? 🍑 of course! rather the fact that he takes photos and posts it for me? and the fans like it? that’s good for me. actually with my personality, as time goes by, i’m unable to take & post pictures of myself
