Guess what? We’ve got some BIG Garfield news for you! I said earlier that His Highness and I have been working on something together and today you’re going to find out what it was. The picture on the left is the first photo we’ve ever seen of Garfield. The photo on the right is how he sleeps nowadays. The video is from tonight and I think it’s pretty self-explanatory. 😭😀 Yep! Big boy has decided that he likes to be petted! He’s still a bit apprehensive and it’s always his decision but once he allows it, he really leans into the cuddles. We’re also starting to get quiet, but steady purrs. Thank you, gentle ginger, for letting us care for you. 😭🧡🐾🐈

"I'm telling you straight up, that guy, he knows a lot more." - LE Lue says that David Grusch's knowledge is NOT just anecdotal or secondhand information and that if Grusch was allowed to say everything he knows, folks wouldn't say Grusch's testimony is all just secondhand information. That is the last I've heard about Grusch's op-ed though. On January 8, 2024, a now deleted reddit post claimed that David Grusch had a private 60-person presentation in New York city. The reddit user (who deleted their reddit account) posted some pictures of the presentation and had this to say. "He [David Grusch] also mentioned a few other things that I haven't heard him say before. Like that, he was told about a uap that was in our possession that had a diameter of around 40 ft, but once u went inside, it was the size of a football field. "He also mentioned that the US has taken part in a fair amount of crash retrievals before 1933. Also that we wouldn't be surprised by what the NHI look like, such as they look like the typical grey and they aren't sure where these being have come from. UPDATE: The police are still keeping our reporter David Menzies in jail Instead of arresting the violent Hamas thugs, they arrested David Menzies. Ezra Levant 🍁🚛 in downtown Toronto at the 52 Division police station. Our reporter David Menzies is in the jail inside. Here’s hisupdate: Ezra heard from Leora Shemesh, the lawyer we hired for David. She says the police are deciding whether to release him tonight or to keep him in jail, and actually have a bail hearing for him in the morning. As in, to try to keep him in jail until his trial. Trial for what? If you watch the video of his arrest, it’s David who was assaulted by pro-Hamas protesters. They hit him, shoved him and slapped the microphone out of his hand. And they hit our cameraman, @realmonsanto, too. David did nothing wrong at all. Police were standing RIGHT THERE. But instead of arresting the violent Hamas thugs, they arrested David. David was completely flabbergasted. When he asked what the charge was, you can hear the cop saying it’s for failure to leave the premises. Huh? It’s a public square. In front of City Hall. Where a public gathering was happening — a pro-Israel vigil to remember the victims of Hamas’s terrorist attack six months ago. It was the Hamas thugs who came to disturb the peace. But the cowardly Toronto cops knew that if they took on the Hamas mob, they would likely fight back violently. David Reich is back. He and collaborator Ali Akbari just published a paper that overturns a long-standing consensus about human evolution — that natural selection has been dormant in our species since the agricultural revolution. By scaling ancient DNA sequencing and developing a new statistical method, they found that selection has actually sped up. Selection went especially bonkers during the Bronze Age (around 3,000 years ago). That's when gene frequencies for everything from immune function to body fat to intelligence were most in flux. Over the last 10,000 years, selection pushed the genetic predictor of cognitive performance up by roughly a full standard deviation — most of it between 4,000 and 2,000 years ago. After we finished recording, David sketched out on a whiteboard his new heretical model about who the Neanderthals really were. Luckily, I took out my iPhone and managed to record it. He thinks the standard story (that Neanderthals are some separate archaic lineage we interbred with a little) just doesn't fit the evidence. Instead, he proposes that Neanderthals are essentially genetically-swamped modern humans. A small population somewhere around the Caucasus invented Middle Stone Age technology roughly 300,000 years ago and expanded outward. The ones that moved into Europe interbred with local archaic humans, got genetically swamped, and became Neanderthals. The same expansion went into Africa, met much more diverged archaic Africans, and that mixture became us. This means Neanderthals and modern humans share the same cultural ancestry — the only difference is which archaic humans they mixed with afterward. David is a brilliant and rigorous scholar. Everyone keeps posting videos from Ring Doorbells. Well, this was from mine last summer. I was working in my office, which is set in the back of the house, when my doorbell rang. My door wasn't locked at the time, I live in the middle of nowhere, I RARELY have people drop by, and I never get any salesmen or anything like that. This guy parked off to the side. The camera on the doorbell is set to panorama view, so in theory, he thought he was parked out of view of the cam. If you watch the video, you can definitely tell that he was hopped up on something; there was no doubt in my mind. I answered the door, but I did not open it, in fact, I very casually turned the deadbolt. I don't scare very easily, but this guy really freaked me out. He kept repeating, "I don't want you to feel uncomfortable." To which I responded, "Well, you are making me feel uncomfortable!" I didn't own a pew pew at the time (I do now.) So, after he left, I immediately called the police, and I posted on local community forums to ask around and to also warn people. He never came back, but now I lock my door all the time, thankfully Winston has a fierce bark, and despite his appearance, he's tough! What do you think?? Was he tweaking? Was he up to no good??

i wanna talk about the scene immediately after tuna melts for a sec because there’s so much symbolism in this scene and it’s honestly really interesting to me because at first glance it could quite easily be one that’s overlooked. sure, it obviously shows shane is tightly wound after running away from ilya in tuna-melt-gate but there’s deeper layers to it as well. the most obvious (imo) is shane ordering a ginger ale and being unable to get one, when in the scene immediately prior we’ve just witnessed him be given one without even asking at ilya’s house. it really plays into the whole ginger ale as a metaphor for shane’s “true self” and that even when he tries to let parts of the real him slip through he meets obstacles to prevent that happening, whereas with ilya he’s allowed to be himself and totally at ease. there’s also the moment where the waiter asks if anyone will be joining them and removes the extra place setting. it highlights the space in shane’s life thats left empty because he isn’t able to publicly fill it. he can’t have anyone sat at that place setting because he can’t be seen in public with the person he loves, so it stays empty. its also a sort of parallel for the final episode, when that extra space at the hollander’s dining table is filled by ilya. this is just a tiny thing and probs me thinking too much into it but i love the choice to have shane studying the menu the whole time. he’s holding it in a way that it sort of shields him from his parents and puts a barrier between them, so it’s kind of like a physical “wall” that he has up to protect himself. then when his parents want to go to the tennis, shane’s immediate instinct is to lie so they can get in, which yuna (correctly) points out isn’t who he is. it really represents to me how comfortable shane’s become in living the “lie” of his life and hiding his true self - and yuna’s words are a harsh reminder to him that he’s really not as okay with that as he’s been telling himself he is. it sort of snaps him out of it for a moment and reminds him that there is a real discomfort for him in lying to the people he cares about. finally the little nod at the end to shane’s parents suspecting that maybe he might be gay - his dad says “swedish princess” really incredulously as though he knows that was never going to tempt shane. this was probably more meant to be referencing how fame and events that are all about appearances aren’t shane’s scene at all but it definitely could be read as them suspecting a little bit considering they say in episode 6 that they had done for a while.

The lights were set up for a series of shots to look into a bar. When the lights were shifted for the setup with Scott coming into the bar, all he had to do was enter, say two words, and walk out. When the crew was ready, he had been kept waiting for several hours and refused to come out of his trailer. When Schrader went in, Scott was in his underwear with a bottle of vodka by his side. Hyukjae says he won’t be taking any variety shows anymore except for the ones with Donghae 🥹 #EUNHYUK #DONGHAE #은혁 #동해 E: The new program I shoot now is really more tired than I thought. I did that program for no reason, I just worried that you might get bored during my break period. I felt like I needed to appear somewhere so you could still see me and not feel bored. So when the offer came in, I didn’t think too deeply about it, I just accepted it, including details like how many episodes we’d film and when we’d shoot, with the broadcast timing ending up in a period when you might feel bored. Only later, when I checked the contract carefully, I realized we had to leave for filming at dawn. During those filming days, I was leaving at 5 a.m., almost without sleeping. I usually sleep around 3–4 a.m., sometimes 2 a.m. at the earliest. Thinking about having to leave at 5 a.m. made it even harder to sleep, so I ended up going to shoots after staying up all night or only sleeping for about 30 minutes. Even though we left early in the morning, we still had to film the whole day. I really did this show for you. As you know, I haven’t really wanted to do variety shows for years. I want to focus on my main job. After all, variety shows consume a lot of your image. Sometimes your image gets consumed in ways you don't really want, and there’s also this pressure to do well or be funny, which can feel like a burden. I feel it’s best to just meet you through albums and tours instead, so I want to focus on that. Right now, besides the YouTube content I do with Donghae, I haven’t had any thoughts about doing anything else. Like, at all. You might be disappointed to hear this, I don't think I'll be doing any other shows after this one. Probably. BREAKING: Claude Opus 5 is OUT NOW! And…it’s a hard model to love. We’ve spent the last week Every 🪨 testing it across coding, writing, knowledge work, and our internal agent. It argued with instructions, stopped before the work was finished, and generally didn’t play well with our existing skills and plugins like Compound Engineering. Our first reaction was: What have they done to my boy? Then we deleted our existing skills and started from scratch. Without the elaborate workflows we had built for earlier models, Opus 5 got dramatically better, and even showed flashes of brilliance. Here’s our Day 0 vibe check: - It’s a poor man’s Fable. It has many of Fable’s personality quirks without Fable’s genius. - It breaks backward compatibility. If you’re using it with existing skills and workflows, watch out. It will often stop early or otherwise miss your instructions. - If you start from scratch, you’ll have better results. Kieran Klaassen figured out that if he just started from scratch without his existing skills, he could get dramatically better results. This is a model that takes some time to rebuild your workflows around—but if you do, there’s a payoff waiting. - Medium or low effort works better. @KieranKlassenn also found better results using Opus 5 on lower thinking levels. It seems that the more time you give it to think, the more likely it is to do the more annoying behaviors. Don’t just switch to Sonnet for a faster response! Try low thinking. I have two slots in my workflow: 1. The genius model I use for my biggest hardest tasks, currently Fable. 2. The smart, fast generalist I use for everything else, currently GPT-5.6. Opus 5 has the personality of the genius, but doesn’t have its top end. So that puts it in a strange middle ground that doesn’t really have a home in my day to day. storytime with kai #2 ⭐️ 🐧 i feel like i’ve told you this before but i have a scar near my chest here 🐧 the reason i got the scar was because…i got hurt really bad when i was a kid and that left a scar 🐧 …just kidding! i do have a scar but i didn’t get it when i was a kid, i got it during ‘run away’ 🐧 it’s actually not a scar, it’s a stretch mark 🐧 as you guys know, in comparison to our debut days, my body suddenly grew starting ‘run away’ 🐧 and because of that, one day when i woke up, i saw that i suddenly got a stretch mark and it actually looked cool so i like this stretch mark 🐧 people usually get stretch marks in strange places but because it was here…i actually didn’t know it was a stretch mark at first, i suddenly got a red scar and it looked as if somebody had scratched me so i was like “did somebody scratch me..?” and it was quite deep so i wondered what it could be and how i found out that it was a stretch mark because my body had grown was…there’s a person in our protocol team who said that he got similar stretch marks 🐧 he said that he used to have a small frame but when he started working out and his body grew bigger, he got stretch marks and i found out what it was through that protocol team member…i found out 2 years after i got it so i was like “that makes sense, i used to have a small frame during our debut and my body suddenly grew during ‘run away’ so that’s why i got the stretch mark, huh?”
