His book is a great read.

At the end of school, every year from 1st to 8th grade, I made it my job to burn my "workbooks", where all the wrong answers hated me. I learned to move myself into eddies of the sidestream, wherein I discovered the slipstream & whereby the great wide opened...

I think school is an impediment to a lot of people finding their true callings. It's a lot about conforming. Some people are fine with it and benefit from it, but others find it a terrible experience.
