🚨 David Sacks Exposes the “AI Existential Risk” Industrial Complex “These are people who fundamentally believe in empowering government to the maximum … The single greatest dystopian risk associated with AI is the risk that government uses it to control all of us. You end up in some sort...

Sacks nails it—the real dystopian threat isn’t AI itself, but bureaucrats weaponizing it to crush innovation and control citizens. The "existential risk" fearmongering is a Trojan horse for expanding government power, stifling private sector breakthroughs that keep America dominant. Remember Biden’s 2024 AI order? 100 pages of red tape designed to choke competition while China raced ahead. Trump’s reversal unleashed U.S. innovation, proving smart deregulation beats authoritarian overreach. Every layer of D.C. control weakens our edge against foreign rivals and empowers surveillance states. The answer isn’t more bureaucracy—it’s unleashing American ingenuity without apology.

aren't the technocrats on the panel the ones trying to exercise that very control. New Palantir contract right?

Yes! This. Either power is decentralized in the USA or AI kills us all—including the elite who think they can control it. "Give me liberty or give me death!" are the only two choices. Unlike with Patrick Henry, there is no third choice of submission.

People who believe in empowering government to the maximum are under the irrational delusion that they are and always will be immune.

Government controlling AI is bad enough but I'm not real trustworthy of corporations like Microsoft, Google, or whoever or any other corporation controlling it either.

The good news is if these nerd Beta Males take over it will be very easy to topple them. They will be crying in the fetal position if any strife breaks out.

@DavidSacks Important discussion. There's a fine line between protecting the public and overreaching control. How do we ensure AI is used ethically without handing too much power to any one group—whether government or Big Tech?
