I think trump has managed to do something that he, to be fair to him, had always marked out, which was he did not want Iran to have a nuclear program, but what's clear is in the last few weeks, he shifted ground on two issues. The first was he had started out in a position which was Iran can have some enrichment, just has to be monitored, things like that. He moved to what was essentially the Israeli position, which was zero enrichment, and he and he outlined that in the middle of about two weeks ago, the second is that he seemed to have lost faith that the Iranians were negotiating in, in earnest and he got -- he seems to have gotten frustrated because I think this was not his first option. His first option was a deal with the Iranians, but the maximalist condition he placed was zero enrichment was was one the Iranians didn't seem willing to go to and he was I think he thought the Iranians were not negotiating earnestly, so the result is you have you have this extraordinary move, which almost certainly has destroyed almost all of Iran's enrichment. The question, however, is you still need diplomacy. You still need a political solution, because the Iranians can rebuild."

This is a non-story for me but Byrdie was upset last night when he found out some took his sign off after his Yaz interview as insulting to the player. He and I were talking past midnight last night working through it. He felt terrible. Yaz wasn't offended, quite the opposite. Byrdie is a champion of players and wants to bring their stories to you with the greatest appreciation and perspective that he can. That is what last night was. This is a non-story for me but Byrdie was upset last night when he found out some took his sign off after his Yaz interview as insulting to the player. He and I were talking past midnight last night working through it. He felt terrible. Yaz wasn't offended, quite the opposite. You'll see that by the sign of affection he gave Byrdie at the end of the interview and what you'll hear Byrdie share in the video below. Is this President amenable to meeting with Stevie Wonder who has these concerns?"

CNN's Van Jones was not a fan of Zohran Mamdani's angry, far-left, rage-filled victory speech: "I think he missed an opportunity. I think the Mamdani that we saw in the campaign trail, who was a lot more calm, who was a lot warmer, who was a lot more embracing, was not present in that speech. And I think that Mamdani is the one you need to hear from tonight. There are a lot of people trying to figure out, can I get on this train with him or not? Is he going to include me? Is he going -- is he -- is he going to be more of a class warrior even in office? I think he missed a chance tonight to to open up and bring more people into the tent. I think his tone was sharp.
