Shoebridge has been a constant and impressive voice on a number of issues he is a Leader in waiting. If Jim Chalmers doesn't put his big boy pants on and do some backroom numbers Labor will count the cost.

When it comes to this Labor government, watch what they do - not what they say. So far they've done nothing aimed towards peace in Gaza. They won't even say the word genocide. We need actions, not words.

Australia also sends explosives to Israel. Most likely some of these are being used to blow up villages on the West Bank and Southern Lebanon.

The two Davids - David Shoebridge and David Pocock, are highly intelligent, not driven by factional politics with competing ideologies and have a social conscience. Both would make great PMs.

@TimLooker Absolutely. Given their track record over the past three years this push for the UN is more likely about caving to further duress from the US & Israel to be their veto buddies at the UN. Which makes the publicity campaign around it even more vile.

David Shoebridge consistently addresses the core issues. One of the few politicians worth listening too. And he's so right here. Australia under Albanese is not deserving of a place on the UNSC.

David needs to be our next FM.

Australia should not get the top job on the UN Security Council. Albanese-Marles are vainglory, never called out Israel’s genocide of Palestinians. Even when Israeli forces killed Australian Zomi Frankcom - no push back. Wong refused to meet Aust women raped by Israeli forces!
