Stephen Harper's actual policies and actions are completely memory holed by CPC supporters. They think Canada's downfall began with Trudeau. Fact is Harper paved the way for Trudeau to accelerate the UN/WEF takeover of our country. 9 years under Harper and the CPC. 9 years under Trudeau and the LPC. 18 years to destroy our entire culture and way of life. Falls into the category, 'the more you know'. I too, who WAS a Harper fan, have been losing a lot of respect for his prime ministership as his past actions continue to resurface. My great awakening was 2016 with the outlandish position Trudeau was taking about our core identity and 'post national state'. Started researching into what Trudeau was referencing; UN agenda 21, agenda 2030, sdg's, etc.. only to discover Harper signed-off on these 'treaties'. We, (most) rank and file Canadians, have been on cruise control for 20 years. One can not 'unsee' our political historical reality that Trudeau, while much more communist leaning, only built onto what Harper handed him. Shame on us for not paying attention.

I hope this clears up any confusion about Quebec being a Nation in Canada. It has since 2007. "The Québécois nation motion was a parliamentary motion tabled by Conservative Party leader and Prime Minister of Canada Stephen Harper on November 22, 2006,[1] and approved by the House of Commons of Canada on November 27. It was approved 265–16 with supporters in every party in the Commons.[2] The English motion read:" Never say I don't put in the effort folks. I was a Reformer. So when I heard Stephen Harper say this, it put a bitter taste in my mouth. Harper was supposed to give Reformers an elected Senate and a Senate that recognized the population of the West, when doling out seats. Instead Reformers got a Pro Quebec equalization retool & Quebec was declared a Nation, within Canada. Something that has had a very negative impact on Western Canada and given Quebec special status in Canada. Harper did all of this to eventually win a majority government. You can't rewrite history.
