"The narrative and verbiage in sports in general but especially in defense is war and battle and defeat and it becomes this life or death thing... For me it's like you're kind of outwitting them. Whether it's a physical battle or not, I'm able to use my tools to overcome yours, just enjoying that little game. As opposed to shutting someone down or destroying someone." On Chauncey Billups describing his defense as wizard-like: "I think it's a beautiful compliment. I've waited my whole life for somebody to notice me in that way... To be celebrated for being a little bit different but still effective feels really good."
