Daggerfall vibes and I love it

thanks! I'm doing my best

Add some big titty lizard women then we will talk

why not?

I find this interesting.

OoooooOOoOOOoooo.. Those models and rendering are smooth AF 👌 Very much so a clean Dagger fall Vibe.

Thanks!! I'm doing my best🙏

Join wayward realms dev team :) they wanna make a daggerfall spiritual successor

I admire their work, but I'm mainly a pixel artist that knows how to code and some basics of 3D modeling, not sure how I could be useful to them!

"only" :D

no need for the CRT effect, we can simply play on a real CRT

now you are talking

finaly!

Wow that looks amazing, do you have a dev log too?

Looks cool! Need more stuff tho. More buildings and better movements

I'm documenting the development weekly, so more stuff will come! ATM I'm working on a more advanced combat system and more characters but I really felt the need to find a visual style for the graphics

Ok! Nice one

lookin good!

Thank you!!

I knew someone was going to do this since Bethesda abandoned TES lol

tengo una pregunta ¿Cómo podes hacer para que si miras para arriba debajo de un árbol, este se vea bien?

Do you have contact info where I can get in touch with you ? I have a business inquiry.

Hi! send me a DM!

your dm is closed :/

Very nice. Have you created the art for the er, random ladies in their birthday suits? Asking for a friend! Was always a fun part of busting into random houses in TES2.

who knows? (yes)

Did you see is called Elder Scrolls VI: **********

Yes honestly I cant wait to play it... it's been 15 years now😅

i see the vision !

You've got to make the Daggerfall we never got, with a massive map. Good luck, haha

I'm doing my best! even Skyrim size is fine for me😅

It would be a dream !

Really well done!

Thanks!!

Excellent

🙌

looks great

Looks awesome. House reminds me of this castle house in Louisiana

wow it's cool! I totally have to do something inspired on that in the next months!

yooooooooo

Looking good

Thanks!

Already sold. This aesthetic deserves a comeback

I TOTALLY agree with you!

Cleanse thyself of sin first

Super cool ! How did you decide for which stuff are 2d and which are 3d ? ( I am seeing 2 d objects and 3d objects )

It's been very hard actually. I'm inpired by Daggerfall so I decided to follow the rule used there BUT since I'm mainly a pixel artist I'm trying to do as much stuff as possible with pixel art. SO my rule is: it moves or it can be moved/interacted?--> Pixel art. The rest is 3D

Fair point, so we can guess at some point that : pixel art -- can interact, it can drive the gameplay. On Octopath traveler I think only characters are 2d pixel art, even objects are 3d ( but it's some sort of 3d pixel art ( not voxels , but mostly blocky elements with 2d pixel art textures ). I like your approach. I try to experience with 2.5d as well love it. Here : a WIP, if you see something really odd let me know :)

It's not TES until you can use a horse to propel yourself 900km through the air or make a potion that allows you to craft a pair of shoes than can implode the universe

ok, I'm taking note

Will there be the possibility to become a overpowered God of power? And can I beat the final boss with an enchanted spoon? (Ps these are joke questions but still interested)

The most interesting part of TES (the old ones) is the magic creation system, I really want to replicate that and try to go even further, but first I need to create the backbones of the game!

Your textures are beautiful. Hand painting?

Yes! I was not completely sure about the final result of the rendering, thanks!!

Well I for one am thoroughly impressed! Great job!

Very cool

Thanks!

Looks fun - I'm following! Can't wait to see where this goes

Thanks, me too!!

Such a beautiful charm!

thanks!!!

Procedural dungeons, tho?

I'm still not sure, when I'll do a little bit more of the 3D world I'll do a lot of tests to undertand what (and if) will be procedural

I've been studying procedural generation a lot lately, and I think it's generally easier than it looks, although admittedly I still need to learn more about Daggerfall-specific generation. I'm sure there's plenty of documentation about it by now, though.

That's some beautiful billboarding 👌

Thanks!!
