๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ NATO IN PANIC: RUSSIA ARMS WORLDโ€™S LARGEST CRUISER WITH SUBMARINE HUNTERS The Russian cruiser โ€˜Admiral Nakhimovโ€™ is now ready to destroy any enemy submarine threat, equipped with three Ka-27M anti-submarine helicopters, making the worldโ€™s largest surface combatant the non-aircraft-carrier warship with the largest airborne squadron of any in service. ๐Ÿ”ธ The 28,000-ton Admiral Nakhimov remains the worldโ€™s largest surface combatant and the only one designed from the outset to carry three heavyweight Ka-27M helicopters in a below-deck hangar. ๐Ÿ”ธ The modernized Ka-27M helicopters deliver real-time digital sensor fusion, the Kopye-A radar for extended-range multi-target tracking, and advanced sonobuoy processing that better separates quiet submarine signatures from background noise. ๐Ÿ”ธ These helicopters push detection hundreds of kilometers beyond hull-mounted sonars, laying active and passive sonobuoy fields while cueing the cruiserโ€™s Otvet anti-submarine missiles against contacts the ship itself cannot yet hear. ๐Ÿ”ธ In the Arctic and Norwegian Sea, Western submarines concentrate on monitoring and holding Russiaโ€™s sea-based nuclear deterrent at riskโ€”this air wing addresses the growing difficulty of detecting stealthier boats from surface platforms alone. ๐Ÿ”ธ Though the Kirov class excels in air defense and anti-ship strikes, its Arctic value may ultimately rest heaviest on these expanded helicopter-enabled anti-submarine capabilities. Do you think Admiral Nakhimov gives Russia a real anti-submarine edge in the Arctic?

PH, Japan Showcase Unified Naval Might in Bilateral Maritime Cooperative Activity The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) launched a new phase of defense cooperation with the successful conduct of the 2nd Bilateral Maritime Cooperative Activity (MCA) on June 14, 2025, marking one of the first major joint activities following the recently ratified Reciprocal Access Agreement (RAA) between the Philippines and Japan. More than a maritime drill, the MCA underscored the operationalization of the RAAโ€”an accord that lays the groundwork for increased joint training, humanitarian assistance, and disaster response (HADR) initiatives between the AFP and JSDF. This activity highlights the deepening trust and coordination between the two allies as they respond to traditional and emerging security challenges in the region. Participating Philippine assets included the BRP Miguel Malvar (FFG06), AW159 anti-submarine helicopter, PAF C-208 ISR aircraft, and Search and Rescue units. Meanwhile, Japan deployed the JS Takanami (DDG110) and an SH-60K Seahawk helicopter, demonstrating joint capability in a wide array of naval operations. The MCA featured key exercise serials such as communication check exercise, anti-submarine warfare exercise, cross-deck exercise, Division Tactics and Officer of the Watch Maneuvers (DIVTACS/OOW), Photo Exercises (PHOTOEX), and a Finish Exercise (FINEX), showcasing seamless interoperability between the two forces. AFP Chief of Staff General Romeo S Brawner Jr. emphasized the broader strategic significance of the exercise, โ€œThis cooperative activity is more than a display of maritime capabilityโ€”it is a manifestation of our enduring commitment to uphold peace, stability, and a rules-based order in the Indo-Pacific. With the RAA now in effect, our coordination with Japan will only grow stronger and more responsive to the complex demands of our shared security environment.โ€ Photos and Videos by: PO3 Gonzales PN / PAOAFP A1C Castro PAF / PAOAFP JMSDF #AFPyoucanTRUST #OneAFPOnePhilippines #StrongAFPStrongPhilippines #OurSeasOurRightsOurFuture

#ThisDayThatYear | 26 May 1999 #OpSafedSagar โ€” the Indian Air Forceโ€™s codename for its air operations during the KargilWar1999 โ€” was launched in support of ground forces under Operation Vijay. It aimed to flush out Pakistani regulars and intruders who had occupied Indian positions along the LoC in the Kargil sector. This was the first large-scale use of air power in the Kashmir region since the 1971 Indo-Pak War. Never before had an air force been tasked with such high-altitude precision operations in rugged mountainous terrainโ€”making it a watershed moment in military aviation history. Operation Safed Sagar was a trailblazer in many ways: it saw air power employed in unconventional roles, demonstrated the effectiveness of limited use of air assets in a localised conflict, and shattered the long-held notion that use of air power would inevitably escalate into full-scale war. The operation not only showcased the versatility and resolve of the Indian Air Force but also established the deterrent value of calibrated air strikesโ€”even in a low-intensity conflict. It proved that air power could decisively alter the course of battle without crossing international boundaries. #IndianAirForce #OpSafedSagar #IAFHistory #IAF เคฐเค•เฅเคทเคพ เคฎเค‚เคคเฅเคฐเฅ€ เค•เคพเคฐเฅเคฏเคพเคฒเคฏ/ RMO India Ministry of Defence, Government of India HQ IDS ADG PI - INDIAN ARMY IN

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ In Paris, Ukrainians presented the unmanned surface drone SIRENA at the EUROSATORY-2026 exhibition. The drone is equipped with powerful electronic warfare (EW) systems and anti-aircraft missiles. โ–ช๏ธ The main feature of the complex is the integrated jammer, which operates across a wide frequency range โ€” from 300 to 6000 MHz. Thanks to this, the platform can simultaneously block enemy communications, GNSS navigation signals, and drone control channels. โ–ช๏ธ The effective radius of electronic suppression of enemy assets reaches 30 kilometers. To ensure high combat effectiveness, the drone is equipped with the Pelican V1 radar and the Scorpion V5 electronic warfare system. The drone can reach speeds of up to 90 km/h and carry up to 300 kg of payload. โ–ช๏ธ SIRENA can also operate continuously for 24 hours, providing coastal defense and reconnaissance at distances of up to 800 kilometers. The SIRENA unmanned surface drone represents a significant advancement in Ukraineโ€™s naval and coastal defense technologies. Its powerful electronic warfare capabilities combined with anti-aircraft systems make it a versatile tool for countering enemy drones, protecting maritime infrastructure, and conducting long-duration reconnaissance missions. Its presentation at a major international exhibition highlights the rapid development of Ukrainian defense innovation. Video is generated by grok AI

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ The empire of aircraft carriers No nation in history has built, deployed, and fought with aircraft carriers on the scale of the United States. America has built more than 80 fleet aircraft carriers and over 120 escort carriers, more than any other country by a massive margin. From World War II, Korea, Vietnam, the Gulf War, Afghanistan, Iraq, and countless operations across the globe, U.S. carriers have been at the center of American military power for nearly a century. At the height of World War II, American shipyards launched carriers at a pace the world had never seen before. While enemies struggled to replace losses, the U.S. kept launching new flattops and filling them with thousands of aircraft. Today, the U.S. Navy operates 11 nuclear powered supercarriers, each capable of carrying an entire air wing of advanced fighters, surveillance aircraft, helicopters, and support assets. The largest and most powerful aircraft carriers ever built are American: โš“ Nimitz-class โš“ Gerald R. Ford class Displacing more than 100,000 tons and powered by nuclear reactors, these floating airbases can strike targets, enforce no fly zones, support allies, and project power anywhere on Earth. For nearly 80 years, every major navy has studied the aircraft carrier. Many nations built aircraft carriers. Only one nation built them in numbers so vast that they helped win wars, shape the modern world, and make the aircraft carrier the ultimate symbol of naval power. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ The United States.

Indian Army Strengthens Close Air Support with Prachand Sortie, Apache Firing The Indian Army has reinforced its focus on strengthening close air support for ground operations, a critical element in modern warfare. Chief of the Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi flew a sortie on the indigenous Light Combat Helicopter Prachand at HAL, Bengaluru yesterday. This was followed by a key operational demonstration today at Pokhran Field Firing Ranges in Rajasthan, where the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter carried out its first field firing, successfully engaging targets with Hellfire missiles and other onboard weapons. The activities showcased how attack helicopters can operate in close coordination with ground troops, even in high-threat environments involving small arms fire, shoulder-fired missiles and drones. These platforms demonstrated rapid target acquisition and precision strike capability, directly supporting manoeuvre on the battlefield. Advanced sensors, fire control systems and real-time data links enabled faster decision-making and immediate action, ensuring that battlefield intelligence was quickly converted into effective strikes. The Apache highlighted its role as a force multiplier by enhancing the reach, lethality and responsiveness of ground forces, while Prachand reflected Indiaโ€™s growing indigenous strength in combat aviation. The demonstrations underline Indian Armyโ€™s focus on integrating air and land capabilities to enhance battlefield effectiveness and maintain operational momentum.

BREAKING: For the first time since the start of the war in Iran under Operation Lionโ€™s Roar, the Israeli Air Force has conducted airstrikes against targets in Bojnord, in the northeast of Iran. At approximately 18:50 local time, air defense systems in Bojnord were activated, with multiple eyewitness reports confirming the sound of anti-aircraft fire across the city. This marks the first known engagement in this area since the beginning of the war, indicating a geographic expansion of Israeli Air Force operations into northeastern Iran. Simultaneously, a wave of coordinated strikes appears to have hit the wider Khorasan regionโ€”particularly Mashhadโ€”between 18:45 and 18:54, suggesting a multi-target strike package. Eyewitness reports from Mashhad describe: 6โ€“7 explosions in rapid succession around 18:48 Continuous air defense activity in western districts, especially Vakilabad, Qasemabad, and Elahiyeh Severe ground tremors following at least one major impact at 18:52 Sustained anti-aircraft fire lasting up to a minute, indicating attempted interception Some reports point to a possible strike near sensitive security-related locations, including areas around the Ministry of Intelligence and Vakilabad Prison, though this remains unconfirmed. The timing is critical: - 18:45โ€“18:48 โ†’ Initial explosions in Mashhad - 18:48โ€“18:52 โ†’ Peak strike intensity and air defense response - 18:50 โ†’ Air defenses activated in Bojnord This synchronization strongly indicates a coordinated Israeli Air Force strike across multiple cities, likely targeting pre-selected fixed sites using precision-guided munitions. The pattern of repeated impacts in a confined area suggests deliberate targeting rather than dispersed strikes. The activation of air defenses in Bojnordโ€”despite no prior activity in the regionโ€”suggests either: Incoming threats detected late, or Secondary strike routes or diversionary flight paths used by Israeli aircraft or stand-off munitions There are also parallel reports of air defense activity in eastern Tehran at the same time, pointing to either a nationwide alert status or a multi-axis operational design. At this stage, Iranian authorities have not released official details regarding targets or damage. However, the consistency of reports and the synchronized timeline confirm that this was a significant expansion of Israeli strike operations into northeastern Iran, with Bojnord now entering the operational battlespace for the first time in this war. #OperationEpicFury #OperationLionsRoar
