I continue to share my progress in my recovery after this massive stroke and the coma and pneumonia that kept me in the hospital for over three months in the beginning of the year I hope that by sharing my experience strength and hope, I can help others who’ve been through something similar. That you are not alone!!! I admit it is an absolute miracle that I am here with you. So I am smiling and willing to do whatever it takes to improve my health. And As in every day I have to thank you for the prayers and support that helped carry me through and this far.

🐧: one of taehyun’s biggest strengths and something i’m grateful for is that he always keeps it together. everyone had their moments when they fell apart. all of us. but it never happened to taehyun. he just kept at it, doing what he had to do. he believed in himself and the team. i thought that was really amazing. that’s also one of the many reasons i admire taehyun so much. the love he has for the members and for what they do has always been so evident, and i truly believe it’s one of the foundations that has helped keep txt’s bond this strong 🥹

I have MS. I was diagnosed in 2013. It’s a debilitating disease that strikes fear in my heart and affects millions of people. Living with MS for me means numbness in my hands on a daily basis and living in fear of waking up one day and not being able to walk. Like what happened for me in 2013: one day I woke up and couldn’t walk. For others it could be vision, sensory, bladder, or mobility issues. I challenged myself to walk as far as I could without stopping to raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and inspire others to keep going. After the Philly Fairmount fire, I told city officials I would do everything I could to bring Ladder 1 back into service. As of this week, the neighborhood once again has a ladder company on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to keep them safe. I kept my promise.

So another year has passed, and I am officially 33 now. As I celebrate another year of life, I realise that Birthdays are not just about growing older; it is also an opportunity to pause, look back and reflect, and to express gratitude for the experiences and people who have taught us to be better and wiser. Since my last birthday, the journey had been rough, my parents are going through separation, and a lot of other negative things have happened as well. But I was also inspired by some furs that I admire and decided to try something completely new to me : Dance. As someone who has a partial permanent disability, and no prior experience, my body often feels tight, sore and painful when I dance. I often doubt myself when I’m in group dance classes as I couldn’t keep up with others who are much younger and more experienced than me. But despite that, for that short while each week, the noise faded away and I felt relieved from my depression. I felt happy. I felt alive. Balancing school, work, gym, and my newfound passion has also been challenging, but as long as my body can handle it, I’ll keep showing up and do my best. I’m almost done with my degree and will likely graduate before my next birthday. I still enjoy photography, making funny content and singing too, but I don’t feel confident of my skill yet to perform on stage. Going forward, I will continue taking care of my diet and physique. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to meet the amazing people like my dance coach Khloe, and recently, guest coach Dain, who both, despite my shortcomings, have always been patient and encouraged me to do better, and for the fans and others who always supported me and encouraged me with your kind words as well, I see and hear you as well. Thank you. I hope that I will continue to be blessed with the health, time and financial capability to keep learning and improving. Maybe it’s not too late for me to chase my dreams and turn my life into something meaningful. Happy Birthday, Fang. 🎨ワンワン🪐

Asked Anfernee Simons if he’s surprised he’s been able to improve so much defensively in such a short span of time: “To be honest, I know I could improve for sure… I never thought I was the worst defender in the league. But, everybody can say anything, some data might prove it, but I always thought I could at least impactful on that side of the ball, defending in the league.” “I'm happy that the coaching staff believed in me to bring that out. It's been fun, them pushing me to be that each and every night. I'm appreciative of them believing in me that I can do it — and push me to do it.”

🐿️: Ah, a tattoo. Wow! That's right. I got a tattoo on my leg. There were quite a few people who were surprised, I think. But, actually, I've kind of been thinking about it for a long time. 🐿️: With my own two feet, the life I've walked for over thirty years in, uh, that life, I wanted to record meaningful words and those important moments on my legs, and that became a big reason. 🐿️: In that sense, the words "I am your hope, you are my hope" are meaningful to me and to all of you as well, they're very meaningful words. 🐿️: So by writing that on my legs that carry me, I thought I could gain another sense of motivation, so I ended up getting the tattoo.
