I literally had the same thought once, about how will the show end will it be bad for the characters, or will we just see Caine left alone in his own world he was made to keep alive? I can't animate but after seeing the idea brought to life everything hurts.

Yoooo this looks so great I never considered Pomni successfully leaving and how that would affect other characters! The body language and the time it takes for Caine to finally lose it is just perfect!
