His eyes were not on what he was leaving behind but on the crown of righteousness that awaited him in the presence of Jesus. This same promise is yours. One day, your race will end, but if you are in Christ, it will end in victory. The crown is not only for Paul but for all who love His appearing—for you, if you keep your eyes on Him and endure in faith. So today, live with eternity in view. This hurts to watch: A grieving father is burying his 16-year-old son and choosing the path of Jesus over bitterness. Last week in Harrison, Arkansas, Brayden Anderson was with friends when a gun accidentally discharged in another teenager’s hands. Brayden was struck and k*lled. That young man now faces a negligent h*micide charge. Tomorrow Brayden will be laid to rest. His father, Aaron, has invited everyone: the community, the first responders, and every teenager who was in the room that day. He has made it clear there will be no hatred and no pointing fingers. In a raw video, Aaron said, “Two lives were destroyed that day… We still have a chance to save one.” He is focused on the boy who will carry this weight for the rest of his life. Aaron does not want that second life destroyed by guilt and isolation. This is not natural human instinct. This is a man living out the words of Jesus, who commanded forgiveness even when the cost is unimaginable. Charlie Kirk was shot on a Wednesday, Tyler arrived to the university at 8:39am. The University would have been packed with student walking to class all over the campus. How did no one see him scouting the rooftops? How did he know Charlie would be setup in a location that he would give him a clear line of sight? If you handed him a $700,000 house, he would sell it for 600 that same day, take the 600, and buy 2.4 million dollars in real estate that pays itself off over 30 years. Lot of numbers. But let's get clear on the original offer. The offer was $700,000 to buy a house. Selling it for 600 the same day is a $100,000 loss for no reason. Here is what I would do instead. Buy the house for 700. Then put debt on it, maybe 500 grand through a cash-out refinance, which is tax-free. Now I still own the house. I throw a renter in it. I pulled 500 grand out tax-free. And I use that to lever up and do it again, and again, and again. Same game he is playing. I just keep the house and skip the 100 thousand dollar loss. He has a lot of good points here. The first move was just a little off.
