Muslim woman was forcibly made to get off the train at Jhansi station by a TTE at 3 AM. Mohammad Nadir (Mohd Nadir 🌾)'s mother, Hasma Begum, was traveling on May 15, 2026, from Lucknow to Mumbai by Pushpak Express (12533). She was traveling in the S1 coach with an acquaintance from her village. The person traveling with Hasma Begum had a valid ticket, but for some reason, Hasma Begum allegedly did not have a ticket. In such a situation, according to railway rules, the TTE could have issued a ticket by collecting a fine or taken legal action. However, it is alleged that instead of taking action as per the rules, the TTE forcibly pushed Hasma Begum off the train at Jhansi station at around 3 a.m. At that time, she was completely alone at the station and had no means to contact her family. After about three hours, she was able to contact her family with the help of another person, due to which the family remained extremely worried and frightened. Forcibly making a female passenger get down from the train at night in this manner raises serious questions regarding her safety. If there was a ticket-related issue, it could have been resolved under the established rules of the railway. After this incident, her son filed a complaint with the railway administration. However, it is alleged that the railway administration did not take any concrete action against the concerned TTE and the matter was closed after speaking to the complainant over the phone.

From Delay to Crackdown: Lathi Charge and Phone Snatching Spark Outrage at bidadi railway station The Ashokapuram MEMU train was delayed for about an hour and a half, causing great inconvenience to passengers. The train was halted midway due to a technical glitch, leaving hundreds of passengers stranded and unable to reach their destinations on time. Frustrated by the delay, passengers staged a protest against the railway authorities at Bidadi Railway Station. Some protesters came down onto the tracks and shouted slogans, demanding an immediate alternative train. “It is unbearable that the train has not moved for one and a half hours. Students, employees, and women are in distress,” the passengers said. Railway officials stated that the train had been stopped due to a track issue and assured passengers that the problem would be resolved within half an hour, after which services would resume. During this time, a heated argument broke out between the passengers and the officials. As the situation escalated, a scuffle reportedly broke out between the police and the passengers. The Bidadi police arrived at the scene and carried out a mild lathi charge to disperse the protesters who had gathered on the tracks. This 2.11 minute video shows the real and grave problem affecting CR Mumbai suburban railway. This is Diva Junction station, this afternoon. The level crossing gate here blocks all six lines that means local and NATIONAL lines. This leads to detention of ALL trains on either side of the gate and MASSIVE commuter crowds piling up at all subsequent stations. The road vehicles clearly need to be on a road bridge & not blocking the crucial Mumbai railway like this. And guess what, the road bridge has been built, but the problem are the approaches. Yes. The bridge portion over the railway line is ready, but there is no land for approaches because there are structures, buildings and residents. Residents don't want to move and local landowners have alleged injustice. Was it all not thought before or planned? The Thane Municipal Corporation is now working on this to clear up the mess. Nevertheless, bureaucrats of any standard here have little say in the area since it is a political hotbed of every party. Every decision taken here is a race on political lines. The local public representatives are towering personalities but blinkered by narrow vision. The management at the gate too is poor. This afternoon, the MSF (Maharashtra Security Force) staff had been manning it and when it became unmanageable, RPF (Railway Protection Force) & GRP (Government Railway Police) had to be called (by station announcement) followed by the station staff at the site. The first thing that was done by them was taking pictures probably to prove their presence to the higher ups. The response was not quick but almost idle. It needed to be faster given the stakes (If they understood them.) But its all a mess that needs to be sorted at a different level not with the local cops. They have other priorities. The sad part is that all of this is affecting lakhs of commuters every single day. After the level crossing closed in about 20+ minutes, the first trains that came from both directions were massively crowded with commuters hanging out even in the afternoon non-peak hours. I managed to get in the first train. As it moved ahead to subsequent stations, the crowds got larger & aggressive as they had been waiting for a lonng time. Sadly, they are used to it and manage the lethal commute deftly. Those who can't end up becoming a statistic.

“I’m a Railway Employee Do Whatever You Want!”: Arrogant Smoker Flouts Train Rules, Endangers Passengers A man was seen smoking a cigarette inside a train, which is clearly a violation of railway rules and basic public safety. When a co-passenger politely questioned him and asked him not to smoke, the man responded in an arrogant and threatening manner, saying, “I am a railway employee do whatever you want.”This kind of attitude is deeply disturbing. Just because someone claims to be a railway employee does not give them the right to break the law or endanger the health and safety of other passengers. Smoking inside a train is not only illegal but also harmful, especially to children, elderly passengers, and those with respiratory problems who are forced to inhale the smoke. If anything, a railway employee should be an example of discipline and responsibility, not someone who misuses their position to intimidate others. Such behaviour reflects a complete lack of civic sense and respect for fellow passengers. Public transport belongs to everyone, and no individual employee or not is above the rules.Authorities must take strict action against such misconduct and send a clear message that arrogance and abuse of power will not be tolerated. Rules exist for a reason, and respecting them is the minimum expected from anyone travelling on public transport. #bangalore #bengaluru #railway #IndianRailways #smoking Ministry of Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw South Western Railway Karnataka State Police S.
