The 2007 version took the same route the anime did with the scene, idk why they changed it

Why does sz look so soulless

The devs from sparking zero deserve jailtime. After update 2 the game was virtually unplayable and will never be tournament eligible.

For some reason, I still prefer the size, "width," and physical bulk of the character models in Tenkaichi 3, and coloring. Now that they’re so stylized, all the characters feel more repetitive to me.

Sparking! ZERO is more cinematic but BT3 hits the nostalgia notes perfectly. The sound design, the impact of the hits, Gohan’s old VA. I used to love using this special in BT3 as a kid.

First one is lacking visual flare but has a weightiness to the attacks, second one while flashy feels flaccid.

BT3 has much better atmosphere, camera angles, sound design, and attack impact than Sparking Zero. You can actually feel the power behind every attack. The cinematic camera angles show both the attacker and the opponent's reactions, making the attacks feel intense and powerful.
