DBZ Ending (Toonami Version)

What yall boys know about rocking the dragon. 😏Before toonami my god brothers uncle was stationed in Japan and brought us the TAPES from overseas. We had this first!

You know it’s the 1990s when they have such a rockin’ tune to go with… *CHECKS NOTES* The characters happily flying around and having fun without a care in the world.

My goodness the rock music got my hyped for Dragon Ball Z.

Unpopular opinion, I always prefer the Ocean Dub cast over the Funimation Dub cast.

i love dbz soooooooo much i wanted to be as strong as goku when i was younger

My kid wanted to get into Dragonball Z, so I showed him thinking this was gonna be the opening. I was sad when this wasn't. Damn you Crunchyroll for not using the best DBZ opening

The Ron Wasserman DBZ soundtrack is better than Faulconers

That was targeted for younger viewers 30 years ago and it sucked that it got cancelled in ‘98 which I still can’t understand.

It’s called “Rock The Dragon”

No good

I need a time machine

Memories

Why did they change the music

Goku a bad dad but had Gohan with him everywhere basically

This just reminded me that Budokai 1 used it too lol

More specifically, the first credits theme before they moved over to the Funimation voice cast. Rock the Dragon is iconic but so was Faulconer Productions' opening theme. But Rock the Dragon is probably moreso since it's older.

... Technically it was the syndicated rock the dragon ending well before toonami was born but this ed was used earlier on
