The generation who experienced war, like my mother, find Brexit baffling. The post war generation brought up on jingoistic war films are comics enthusiastically voted for it. The young generation are baffled by it as well.

Maybe people like Penny Mordaunt, who like to dress up as soldiers, might actually listen to these real veterans? I can but live in hope.
