Watching Ryu Hayabusa izuna drop a spartan was one of the coolest things to ever witness as a kid. Still fun all these years later.

My 7 year old self was going crazy, my favorite fighting game of all time

Sadly they never updated this game. Still runs in murky 720p even on Xbox Series X. This needs an update. DOA1/2/3 all run in 4K.

Are there more examples of franchises who did stuff like this? I think Soul Calibur had Link in the gamecube version in one of the games and also Kratos in a entry for the psp if i recall correctly
