Sooooo beautiful.

Absolutely stunning! The Dead Sea in Israel is one of those places that looks almost otherworldly — that impossibly vivid turquoise water, the crystalline salt formations along the shore, the stark desert mountains in the background, and the way the light hits it can make it glow like nothing else on Earth.

Aye , hopefully I'll swim in it one day

Shame about the turds on the beach…..

It's beautiful the way it is, but Zechariah 14:8 mentions that on the day of the Lord, “living water” will flow from Jerusalem, half of which will flow into the Eastern Sea (Dead Sea) and half into the Western Sea (Mediterranean Sea).

Healing place on Earth

My father had the privilege of bathing in the dead sea

Sort of. But the water itself is poisonous and swimmers are adviced to take a fresh water shower after bathing in that soup. The white foam on the shores is not foam, but hard salt. Took some of it with me as souvenir when I visited Ein Gedi.

I will visit this sea one day ❤️ 🇮🇱
