Seems like a lifetime ago. He was a massive talent and fought for the badge. About 90% of our squad now ain't fit to tie Deano's boot laces.

Not an Iron, but I think he could’ve been the best CF England ever produced. So underrated. Would’ve taken WHU to the next level. Hate that he never gets a mention in anything regarding injuries in the national game.

He was a massive upgrade in striker for us when he signed. Such a shame he got injured in an England training session, that ultimately started his injury problems. And made me nervous, ever since, whenever West Ham players are called up for international duty.
