@deancain So James Gun just copied and pasted the CW’s Supergirl, is calling it Superman and put it on the big screen. I quit watching the CW shows after Arrow went of the air and wokeness took over.

Yeah, and in the story he grows up adopted and living in small town Kansas where he learned his values from the Kent family. It wasn’t his powers that made him a hero. The powers are neutral….biological “arms”… his VALUES (which were traditional conservative heartland of America values) were what made him a hero. The superpowers just made him a SUPERhero. Removing that part of the story just rips the HEART out of the character. Plus… “a better tomorrow” is a communist campaign slogan from back in the day isn’t it? They are going all “Red Son” on the fans… it is like Clark went off to college and got “woke.” Honestly though what bugs me most is that fiction especially comic books… should be pure escapism for youth… not pulling in so much real world current events/debates… and it shouldn’t be too grown up… we the fans grow up and become concerned with the real world and current events… but leave the fictional worlds for the children, clean, simple, where good and bad people are easier to tell apart, less complicated. Why are so many adults trying to make kids grow up too fast or influence or indoctrinate them…pollute them with all sorts of matters that are really beyond them when at comic book age? That is what they are doing when they insert this sort of stuff into content really meant for children. They are robbing kids of their innocence with propaganda in everything.

As someone who recently watched all of his Superman show. His Superman never says Truth, Justice and the American way. The show does in the last season make the statement of Truth, Justice and the American way. I wonder if they would not allow him to say it and would love to know if he ever spoke out on this during his run as Superman.
