No mystery. Writers wrote it this way and J acted it this way because he’s not gay. Straight men, as a general stereotype, don’t know what to do or how to act when ‘hit upon’ by gay guy. There’s no disrespect in that. I truly don’t get why our gay brethren insist he’s gay.
