John Wayne with Dean Martin :)

That generation was full of entertainers who learned how to do many things just to earn a paycheck. Most were born before the depression, so life wasn't easy when they were kids. God bless them all. They are missed. At least by me.

Dean Martin was an American singer, actor, and comedian, widely regarded as one of the most enduring entertainers of the 20th century. Born as Dino Paul Crocetti on June 7, 1917, in Steubenville, Ohio, Martin first found success as a crooner, with a smooth voice that made him a favorite in the post-World War II era. He achieved fame as part of the comedy duo "Martin and Lewis" alongside Jerry Lewis, becoming a household name for their radio, television, and film appearances. Martin's career extended to solo success in music, with hits like "That's Amore" and "Everybody Loves Somebody." He was also part of the famous Rat Pack, which included Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr., known for their Las Vegas performances and films. Dean Martin's charisma, effortless cool, and versatile talents made him a beloved figure in Hollywood and an icon of the golden age of entertainment. He passed away on December 25, 1995, but his legacy continues to influence generations of performers.
