@collector_akp Even though 19 years have passed since 2008, not only have we not been provided with rehabilitation, but the attitude of the officials and the government implies that we should not get married until the R&R (Relief and Rehabilitation) package is granted.

Andhra Pradesh minister Nara Lokesh speaking at the centenary celebrations of Andhra University describes the 2014 Andhra Pradesh bifurcation. “We were necked out with just our clothes & nothing else. CM had no chair, no one told where the Capital of Andhra Pradesh will be, we didn’t have assembly or the secretariate”! FACT CHECK! No one was necked out. Nara Lokesh and honourable CM of Andhra Pradesh, Nara Chandrababu Naidu have their permanent family residence in Hyderabad still. They spend weekends and holidays here. TDP’s central office, NTR Bhavan is very much in Hyderabad in the heart of the city. Party activities still take place here. Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan’s permanent residence is in Hyderabad. He travels mostly in a special flight whenever he needs to attend to his duties. Lokesh’s entire family, including his uncle Nandamuri Balakrishna stays in Hyderabad Andhra Pradesh & Telangana had joint capital for 10 years. From 2014 to 2024!!! The joint properties like Secretariate was there till the new Telangana secretariat was constructed. Andhra Pradesh government still has a lot of properties/ buildings in Hyderabad. Most Andhra Pradesh politicians have permanent residences in Hyderabad. Their kids go to school here. Their business thrive here. Despite the joint capital, when “Vote For Note” scam was exposed involving both Nara Chandrababu Naidu and current Telangana CM Revanth Reddy, CBN wanted to move his operations to Amaravathi. Not a single Andhraite was necked out. All businesses & jobs of Andhra people are perfectly fine. Both TDP or YSRCP never fought with BJP to demand the bifurcation promises. All these whole bifurcation statements follow the same pattern as “Hindu Khatre Mein Hai”. Make monsters out of common citizens, our friends, neighbours and run an agenda far from reality. Brew hate and thrive on hate.

#WATCH | Delhi: Indian Army officer, Major Swathi Shantha Kumar, has won the UN Secretary General’s Award 2025 for her project 'Equal Partners, Lasting Peace'. She says, "I have been deployed in the UN Mission in South Sudan as the Engagement Platoon Commander of a team of 20 women soldiers who have been deployed since August 2024. We have just returned from the Mission area. This was the first time a woman peacekeeper or a team of women soldiers had been deployed in the UN Mission in South Sudan...We always conducted a gender-inclusive patrol, we ensured that women peacekeepers were always participating in operations and all activities. That is how we were able to move ahead in the Mission. This project is an indication of the actions which we have done because when we went into the Mission area, we realised that women soldiers are also required to be conducting patrols along with the male soldiers because it is very necessary...When we engaged with the community, initially they (women and children) had a little hesitation to speak to us. But once we started speaking to them continuously, we were able to get a good response from them; they were able to share their issues. This is what helped us in identifying that women's and men participation are equally important in peacekeeping operations. That is how we were able to conceptualise this project...We started conducting certain awareness camps against conflict-related sexual violence, we started sharing protection contact cards where we were able to share our contacts or emergency contacts and also identify certain areas or regions where we should be conducting more patrols. Because of the presence of UN in these regions, they were able to feel more confident and free in their movement..."

#WATCH | Delhi | On Supreme Court grants full pension to women SSC Officers denied permanent commission, Advocate SS Pandey says, “Today, Supreme Court has passed a historical order, the bench was presided by the CJI, in respect of women officers of all the three services – Army, Navy and Air Force. The SC has recognised the fact that since women officers were not being considered for PC, the inputs to derive the merits of the women officers have not been done properly because the reporting officers were not conscious of the fact that these Annual Confidential Reports and other credentials would be used for consideration of PC for the women officers… In the Army, the SC has already found that the women officers have been subjected to systemic discrimination through the cases of Babita Punia and Nitisha… The SC clearly held that all those officers who have completed 60% of qualifying service and were clear from the PC and vigilance angle will be considered and granted PC. The officers who have been victims of systemic discrimination will be permitted to serve for 20 years and will be given a pension on completion of 20 years… In the Air Force’s case, the consideration denied earlier was based on a 2019 policy in which the inputs that were taken into consideration were those that women officers could not have earned during their service. As a result, they were denied PC. Both the male and female officers have been granted consideration for PC or pension… The same goes with the Navy because it was also following a policy of no PC to either men or women… They have also been considered for PC… “

One of the allegations surrounding the "Students Protests" against our government was that bullets were fired from RAB helicopters, which resulted in the death of children in their home. It is true that few children were indeed killed in their home. Subsequently our government was blamed for ordering RAB to shoot from a helicopter, which resulted in the tragic death. The people of the country naturally became angry at our government for the death of the children. Although we had been saying from the outset that the government issued no such order to RAB. Many did not believe us back then. Now, the real story is coming to light gradually. Following investigations carried out under the #Yunus Administration, RAB has confirmed that no bullets were fired from their helicopter. Only sound grenades and tear shells were used. (Video 1). Another investigative report from DBC News Channel clearly showed that at the time the child was shot, no helicopters were flying in proximity. The family of the deceased child also confirmed that they heard no sounds of flying helicopters during the incident (Videos 2 and 3). But it is undeniable that innocent children were shot and killed. So, who fired the bullet? Who shot a child in his/her home to rile up the people against our government? It is, therefore, essential to have a credible, impartial, and independent investigation into this incident. The families of the innocent child shot down deserve proper justice.

Bulldozer Action on Muslim Minority Homes in Assam* JUH Delegation Visits Affected Areas in Goalpara District, Submits Memorandum to Assam Government Demanding Immediate Rehabilitation and Compensation* New Delhi/Goalpara, 15 July 2025:Acting on the direction of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind President Maulana Mahmood Asad Madani, a high-level delegation of the organization today visited the Goalpara district of Assam, where a recent demolition drive by the state government resulted in the destruction of 3,973 houses in the Ashudubi and Hasilabil areas. Most of the displaced families belong to the Bengali-origin Muslim minority. It is worth noting that Jamiat Ulama Assam has stepped in to provide immediate relief, setting up temporary shelters (tents) for the displaced families and initiating efforts to support the affected population. The delegation met with affected families, visited the demolition sites, and assessed the on-ground humanitarian situation. Deeply moved by the scale of displacement and suffering, the delegation extended assurance of all possible support from the organization. A memorandum was submitted to the Chief Minister of Assam, Shri Himanta Biswa Sarma, through the District Magistrate, calling the demolition drive inhuman, unconstitutional, and driven by religious discrimination. The memorandum highlighted that demolition was selectively carried out in Muslim-majority areas, particularly targeting Bengali-origin Muslim residents, while similar settlements of other communities remained untouched—an alarming case of state bias and discrimination. The memorandum also noted that many of the affected families have been residing in these areas for over 70 to 80 years, and are legitimate Indian citizens, many of whom were earlier displaced by erosion caused by the Brahmaputra River. Evicting them without due process violates legal rights, constitutional protections, and Supreme Court directives. In several cases, the demolitions were allegedly executed to serve private or industrial interests, with no prior notice given to the occupants. The memorandum strongly demanded immediate rehabilitation and compensation for all affected families, utilization of government khas land available in Assam for relocation, provision of interim relief, including food and shelter, until permanent arrangements are made Preliminary Fact-Finding Report: Jamiat Ulama Assam According to a preliminary report submitted by Maulana Badruddin Ajmal (President, Jamiat Ulama Assam) and Hafiz Bashir Ahmad Qasmi (General Secretary), the demolition drives from November 2023 to July 2025 have affected a total of 8,115 families across Goalpara, Dhubri, and Nalbari districts, displacing more than 32,530 individuals, including women, children, and the elderly. The report further documents the demolition of 21 mosques, 44 maktabs/madrasas, and 9 Eidgahs, reflecting the disproportionate targeting of religious and community institutions. While Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind has initiated relief efforts by providing food, shelter, and medical aid, the current resources are inadequate to meet the scale of the crisis. Urgent and expanded government intervention is essential to address the humanitarian emergency and restore justice to the displaced.

THE KIDS ON THE STREETS, WHATS YOUR PLAN ?? By Deputy Governor of Lagos State and Lagos APC Governorship Candidate for 2027 Elections, Dr Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat Obafemi Hamzat The Lagos State Deputy Governor and Lagos APC Governorship Candidate, Dr Obafemi Hamzat says we need to properly distinguish and categorize those who require social support, those facing drugs issues, those who ran away from home to seek a safe space in Lagos and those who just want to commit crimes. Dr Hamzat proposed the creation of a dedicated child welfare agency that will be independent from the Ministry of Youth and Social Development. The agency’s mandate would include identifying children who need protection, separating different case types, and coordinating rehabilitation services. He also recommended the creation and expansion of shelters specifically for children under 18, he stated clearly that the State already has shelters that are fully being used to cater for domestic violence victims, disaster victims and others. Dr Hamzat says children who need help should be rehoused, receive cleaning up/rehabilitation, and be returned to school or enrolled in skills training especially for kids under 18, for the ones with drug or mental health issues, targeted treatment programs would be provided for them. Finally, He says there will be series of engagement with the general public on the need that the society as a whole must collaborate with the Government to address root causes of these issues. #KOHLagos2027 #ForwardLagos #DrObafemiHamzat Babajide Sanwo-Olu
