If GoE provided basic infrastructure (electricity, water etc), opened up the private sector, and eased restrictions on personal liberties there would be no shortage of Eritreans returning home.

A single mother living in the West away from her close family is very difficult, especially being as young as her. The emotional support, the love and the feelings of being surrounded by family makes a big difference among us.

You and her are both suffering from Moral Injury. Free yourselves and point your fingers at the source 👇

Does she know what the ROOT cause of her Being a refugee is? Brutal HGDEF. Why not fight against it instead of complanining

If you fast forward your life 30-40 years from now and evaluate what you will gain and achieve interms of your financial and personal achievements, they all sum up to zero. You will regret raising your kids here and living away from your family and society back home since our daily lives here are routine, tiresome, boring, stressful, full of nostalgia/ loneliness topped with no wealth accumulation at your retirement. You will end up learning it is hard to save money year over year until you retire and that money/material/comfort doesn’t bring happiness. We should learn from the experience of Eritreans who have been living in diaspora for 40+ years. What did they achieve and do they have any regrets? Ofcourse there are good things here but there are lot of bad things as well. Which ones do you give value the most for the future of your life and kids is the most important!

Your hypocrisy is beyond hilarious…. Why don't you go back to #Eritrea? That shows what a miserable person you really are! ምእንቲ ሰናቲም ክትኣሪ ካብ ተቓዋሚ ናብ ደጋፊ እና ተገላበጥካስ 🤔 መትከል ኣልቦ

This is how capitalism operates, my dear sister. It promises a better life but often keeps you trapped in a wage cycle, hindering improvements in both your living standards and work conditions. Let's push eritrean government to introduce change.

For many generations of human race, immigrants settling into new destination adjusting to new economic, social & cultural circumstance had always been desperate struggle to overcome. Therefore having deep understanding of the struggle may help immigrants to make difficult choices.
