I’m at the Christopher Luxon Nelson event. It’s packed- but I’m not gonna lie, if he does get in most of the audience won’t be around to see the end of his term.

I’m not kidding everyone in this audience is white. Really white.

Let’s call it a 🧵 I’m live tweeting a National gig. Blair Cameron is giving it his all on Back on Track.

Tama from Hamilton is here- that’s weird. Anywho it’s all v positive about how great we are.

He used the word ‘fundamental’ which I think is a bold choice.

Oops I just realized I’ve been scrolling and zoning out. He’s talking about wasteful spending.

He’s on health

Besides the entire "let's hug the racist vote" thing, the first commenter literally says that he doesn't know what the new signs mean even though he knows what signs they updated. He'd hammer a pencil up his nose to avoid learning a single Māori word.

When you tell a hall of people that you understand "kura" means "school" while openly professing you are confused and/or perturbed by "kura" when it's on a sign. I think the signs are the least of your worries, e hoa.

It was such a silly statement.

He says he doesn't understand kura yet he clearly knows it means school...

National Voters— focused on the big issues (like Kura/School signage) since ages ago.

Is he saying he will do something about these signs now if he wins?

Yes. He will make sure they are in both language!!!!! Lolololol 😂😂😂😂

He had a chance to shut that shit down and instead vote for us to do something about it i.e not use Máori words?

There was more. There was the woman who couldn’t pronounce Aotearoa.
