An Open Apology to H.E Peter Obi Peter Obi My leader and role model, H.E Peter Obi, I write this letter with sincerity, humility, and a deep sense of responsibility to publicly apologize for my earlier open letter concerning your response to the passing of the mother of Mr. Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour. My earlier letter was written because I did not see a public condolence statement from you and, based on that, I mistakenly concluded that you had not identified with Mr. Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour and his family during their time of grief. Having personally attended the Night of Songs and the funeral ceremony, I witnessed firsthand that you were present to honor the memory of the late matriarch and to stand in solidarity with the Rhodes-Vivour family. You are, in fact, one of the politicians I have interviewed the most since your entry into Tamil Nadu politics. If I am not mistaken, I was the first journalist to record a visual interview when you decided to contest from Madurai Central in 2016. I have written a lot about you in the past, acknowledging your work, not based on your claims, but on the voices of the people. Now that those voices are not in your favour, your response is to target and attempt to discredit journalists like me. The way you are speaking now is not just irresponsible, it is a direct attempt to intimidate and silence journalists who refuse to fall in line with your narrative. This crosses a clear line and cannot be ignored. As for my next pursuit, yes, it will remain journalism till my very last day. We are not okay, and that’s okay to say. I wish I could tell you that we are standing here and that the rest of the world is standing with us. With you. Sadly I can’t say that. There is a loud and aggressive minority around the world who doesn’t get, that being murdered at a peace festival does not equal resistance. I do however, know that we are standing here on behalf of all those people in the world, with moral clarity. And there are a lot of them. And there are many who want to be here with you. And they are here with you at heart. On October 7th, your loved ones went to Nova. We call it a peace music festival because that’s what it was—a place to make new friends, to let loos explore and celebrate life. And this juxtaposition hurts the most —because on that day, the light your loved ones were, was met with the most unimaginable darkness. Our lives will never be the same. But today, as we remember them, we also make a promise: to honor their memory by living as they would have. As we stand here in grief, we have a message to the world: we will not be defeated. Israel was attacked on October 7th and every day since, for the crime of existing. For the audacity of just being here. But we are here, and we are here to stay. Spiritual and religious matters have long been a cause of division in nationalist circles - now more than ever before. This has always confused me, because all that matters in nationalism is that you stand for the interests of your ethnic group over all others. To me, it has never mattered whether you are a Christian, pagan or atheist. If your beliefs cause you to act against the interests of your own kind and help invasive outgroups, you are in error and need to correct yourself or be shunned. If you love your people and act in support of them, you are a brother or sister to me. I am not a pagan, but when I watch the video below, it brings tears to my eyes seeing Europeans united in their shared identity. I honour them, because this is how they express who they are. There will also be Latvian Christians and atheists who are fierce nationalists, and we all have a role to play in defending our nations and civilisation. As a nationalist, who am I to tell any of them that they are wrong? What possible purpose would it serve other than to spread division and enmity? I have always thought of White people as a family of nations. Each member of our family has a unique identity and culture, and this is what makes Western civilisation so rich and beautiful. Unity in European identity - however we conceive of it - is how we win, not by policing each other's spiritual or religious beliefs. Now enjoy the spectacle of this amazing performance. ❤️

Most of the Stanford graduates have very high expectations. And you deserve to have high expectations because you came from a great school. You were very successful. You're top of your class. Obviously, you were able to pay for tuition. And then you're graduating from one of the finest institutions on the planet. You're surrounded by other kids that are just incredible. You naturally have very high expectations. People with very high expectations have very low resilience. And unfortunately, resilience matters in success. I don't know how to teach it to you except for I hope suffering happens to you. And I was fortunate that I grew up with my parents providing a condition for us to be successful on the one hand, but there were plenty of opportunities for setbacks and suffering. And to this day, I use the phrase pain and suffering inside our company with great glee. And I mean that. Boy, this is going to cause a lot of pain and suffering. And I mean that in a happy way, because you want to train, you want to refine the character of your company. You want greatness out of them. And greatness is not intelligence. Greatness comes from character, and character isn't formed out of smart people. It's formed out of people who suffered. And so if I could wish upon you, I don't know how to do it.
