Dear NASA & ISS There have been 24 different Solar Eclipses since your International Space Station has been in orbit. You haven’t recorded a single one. Why?

I dont need to see an alleged shadow on the ground - why don’t they aim their many mounted cameras at the Sun & the moon?

Perspective matters dude as does timing. The only way it could capture is if it randomly happened to be above an area in the path of totality. It’s okay to not understand orbital mechanics and perspective but remember those limitations you have prior to speaking.

I notice orbital mechanics isn't in your bio.

Well, a bit hard to do when you have 16 sunsets a day. When you’re going 17,500mph it’s not the most ideal condition to view an eclipse from. Not to mention the angle and and everything

I’d suggest turning on the notifications for the nasa account.

Have you calculated the 24 different orbits to see which would have allowed a proper alignment? The ISS isn’t stationary either.
