@NASCAR I stopped watching @NASCAR a few years ago. No one could pass. It was all about the pits & saving fuel etc. Just cars going in circles making laps until the end when someone would do something they haven't all day & cause a wreck. Tons of caution laps watching fast cars go 55mph.

@NASCAR This.

@TheCatchFence @NASCAR Or just run 1986 cars with updated safety standards.

@TheCatchFence @NASCAR Even better.

@NASCAR You guys are going to hate races if we get rid of stage racing. We just saw a Kansas race that only had 1 caution for incident and people hated it. We’re seeing less cautions than ever and when we get a race that runs green wire to wire everyone is going to throw a fit

@NASCAR Less cautious because the cars are easy to drive. Give them 900 HP, low downforce on a 15 inch wheel and the cautions will come. You will then see the real cream rise to the top.

@GMillz07 @NASCAR I have never heard a driver say these cars are easy to drive.

@GMillz07 @NASCAR Trust me when I say most of the drivers do not like the car.

@rf121rf @NASCAR They don’t like any car nascar puts out

@AntonHernandez_ @rf121rf @NASCAR go back to letting teams build the cars. Modern tech can test roll cage thickness,the car has to fit the old nascar standard roof & body outline jig(so no excessive wings etc). These cookie cutter cars are BORING. If a team has an engine builder who can squeeze out 50 more HP...

@GMillz07 @AntonHernandez_ @NASCAR That just leads to the big teams dominating for sure because they have the money and resources. Still a problem today as these are not cookie cutter. There are hundreds of adjustments that can be made. Big teams still winning because they can spend $ and work it out.

@MaryGulag @GMillz07 @NASCAR There are 5 teams at least with damn near the same budget. Just give them a ton of power and low downforce on 15in wheels in something that doesn’t look like a rectangular box and make them drive the damn racecar.

Your proposal is fine, but there’s a simpler one. Bill Elliot, who sold more Fords than any human ever did or ever will, drove a stock car (a term that used to mean something) 212 mph at Talladega in 1987. That’s what people want to see: man, moment, machine. Whatever they’re putting on TV today has little to do with the men that made those moments that we all remember.

@NASCAR Agreed

@NASCAR Put it on the same channel each week. I get tired of having to hunt for it.

@NASCAR Right!!

@NASCAR and just throw content creators behind the wheel. Matter of fact, let's just gut the Cup Series and bring folks in wholesale from Youtube and Tiktok

@NASCAR Let’s put @ishowspeedsui in the 48 next year.

@NASCAR @ishowspeedsui let's throw all the guys from @realDailyWire in the Gibbs cars, Don Lemon in the 47, @megynkelly in the 69 (renumbered 16). Man, I could go on

@NASCAR @ishowspeedsui @realDailyWire @megynkelly Put Trump in the 47, Biden in the 23🤷🏻♂️

@NASCAR @ishowspeedsui @realDailyWire @megynkelly 🤣🤣

@NASCAR Or you get them back to as close to Stock as before.... It's called STOCK Car racing for a reason. Or at least it did. They are driving cars no one can afford and are over built pigs only resembling the real cars from 100 feet away.

@NASCAR Agreed.

@NASCAR Just get rid of the wokeness

@NASCAR That too

@TheCatchFence @NASCAR This is 450 HP btw 🤦♂️

@NASCAR You left out getting rid of restrictor plates.

@NASCAR I ran out of characters haha

@NASCAR Why don’t people like the stages. To me it makes little races within the race.

@NASCAR It ruins the natural flow of the overall race. I absolutely despise stage racing.

@NASCAR Don’t need a hard tire but just something to match O’Reilly type wear

@NASCAR They basically run the same compound just 15 inch instead of 18 inch wheels.

@NASCAR Tire width and side wall has a lot to do with it.

@AntonHernandez_ @NASCAR I mean Goodyear has decades of history with tires like that tho

@AntonHernandez_ @NASCAR Yeah. Everything about this car is just wrong.

@AntonHernandez_ @NASCAR It’s too good of a car, makes for a terrible race car

@AntonHernandez_ @NASCAR Yep. It’s draggy and stuck to the ground. No need to modernize a race car the O’Reilly cars still look great on track a people love it.

@NASCAR Screw that left turn left turn shit...let's see some real racing...

@NASCAR

@NASCAR Ive been kind of falling out of nascar recently, why has there been an emphasis on fuel savings at superspeedways?

@NASCAR My theory is harder to pass with more dirty air unless you’re in a pack so everyone just said screw it we’ll just strategize with furl and wait around for the end of the stage to make something happen. It’s made it so cringy to watch. They need to get rid of stage racing mainly.

@MA5KED @NASCAR The cars cant generate runs and pass on track because of drag so everyone saves fuel so their pit stops are faster which allows them to leapfrog other cars and make up spots on pit road.

@AntonHernandez_ @NASCAR I see. I wasnt able to catch the atlanta race too, was there a similar problem there too?

@NASCAR Direct injection?!? When you say modern technology, the corporate quacks think you're talking about hybrid and high voltage electric vehicles

@NASCAR Modern as in modern safety.

@NASCAR

@NASCAR What!? When you were a kid, you never dreamed of racing a Camry on alternative fuels?

@NASCAR Nope, I dreamed of racing a 950 HP Sprint Car ;)

@NASCAR NASCAR has become trashcar. Old fans can’t watch this product for many reasons.

@NASCAR I hate how they say well the old fans don’t matter anymore. Most of the “old fans” range from the ages of 25-80. They are the reason Nascar had 10 million viewers. You go back to the roots and they will come back alive.

@NASCAR Exactly I wasnt referring to age. I was referring to what NASCAR once was. It was awesome but all these changes turned it into shit.

@NASCAR Yep!

@NASCAR Do you have any idea how dumb this post is? Or at least not well thought-out?

@alliedcloudllc @NASCAR Thank you for your opinion.

@NASCAR Amen buddy Amen. By rules everything on the cars are the same. Team mechanical ingenuity is discouraged. I was there to see Bill Elliott make up two laps at Dega UNDER THE GREEN FLAG something we'll never see allowed again. Just sad

@NASCAR …in addition to no stage racing, go to a simple accumulated point system (like IndyCar & F1) to determine season champion

@NASCAR I love all these things except stage racing. I love stage racing. Go watch Indy car. The winner is usually the winner after just like 10 laps. Stage racing allows a better overall viewing experience

@NASCAR Get rid of the team racing. That really killed the sport.

@NASCAR I disagree with that. Seeing the team work is cool but at the samw time I want to beat my teammate more than the next guy typically.

@NASCAR Get rid of bubba wallace.

@NASCAR You can’t just say “no saving fuel” now that teams know it works why would they stop?

@NASCAR They could easily make a rule where you have to run all out at Super Speedways. Only with the exception of saving if you’re running out of fuel with like 5 laps to go or something like that.

@NASCAR Stage racing “SUCKS!!!!!!!!” They lost me when they went to that bullshit. Who ever thought stopping for a sandwich and a coke was a good idea in the middle of a freaking race? RACING, RACING.. Not stopping!!

@NASCAR I mean you can’t really tell teams not to save fuel that’s always been a part of racing

@NASCAR NASCAR in its present form sucks I stopped watching it

@NASCAR get rid of stage racing will solve 90% of the problems no fuel strategy, green flag stops, no people @ the front that shouldn't be there. then you can see what the car will really do or not do

@NASCAR And drop the green flag at 1 pm eastern (12 noon central time) for all day races in the east & central time zones!

@NASCAR You remember when Earnhardt died? They want to prevent that from happening to their stars. Restrictor plate racing to bunch them all within 2 seconds at 200mph. I guess it’s supposed to be exciting

@NASCAR Okay lets give them bubble wrap too. Dale didn’t wear a Hans. It’s supposed to be dangerous. I have seen 2 competitors pass in real time in sprint car racing. We aren’t going under 900+ HP anytime soon.

@Ron071443531 @NASCAR It’s like watching a 200 mph traffic jam and the stages are insulting. Let them race! Meanwhile F1 is committing s—cide by regulation and IndyCar has turned into the Alex Palou Invitational. Maybe I should check out IMSA…

@Ron071443531 @NASCAR Check out @HighLimitRacing. 410 Sprint Car racing is where it’s at!!

@NASCAR Shut the fuck up dude. This Gen 4 glazing is so performative and fake

@NASCAR So, the opposite of what the Europeans are doing to F1. Got it!

@NASCAR Just get rid of stage racing! Please!!

@NASCAR You know what would really fix it? Each drivers team can only have 10 guys max. Those 10 guys gotta build the car, load the car, drive it to the track, pit it and then fix it before next Sunday. Everything else would take care of itself.
