I’m ethnically British, I can trace my family tree back to the 1500s. If I don’t abide by British values™️ do I stop being British? Does a Japanese man who does abide by British values™️ become more British than me?

British is a union of 3 ethnicities. England Scotland and Wales. Those created over a millenia ago, that's why our countries are named after us. If I paint myself black, I'm not black. If I speak Polish, I'm not Polish My accent doesn't make me british, my heritage does.

I don't care one bit about how much someone likes us. It is not a matter of colour or culture, it is a matter of ethnicity. Culture is downstream of ethnicity. Would you be happy for England to be 95% non English, as long as all those people are "culturally English"?

Define British values Alex. Compare them to the 70's. Compare them to the 40's Compare them to turn of the century. Your values argument falls apart as fast as it's applied. Values change, in 50 years time people like you will tell us Islam is a British value if you win.
