I don't know. "Recent events" have caused people to "believe certain things" about trans people and the inherent rights of everyone to be accepted and included. Actions will speak louder than words.

Be proud of your beliefs, that’s a big issue in this world is having to apologize and give into this non sense. Don’t ever apologize for believing what you believe. If people don’t like it then that’s their problem.
