Truly appreciate the tone switch and honestly just by everything you said and how passionate you were about the whole thing, I knew you were a legit fan. Which is why I took the time to respond on a video. I need to sleep cause we’re announcing another person @ 12pm PST so I’m gunna type out the response this time. 1) Hall of FaZe is an amazing concept and idea in theory, but it defeats the purpose of seperating the 2 when people are still selling their own personal brands, content and products as FaZe _____. It's really important at this stage we remain very clear to our audience past, present and future about who is in FaZe. We don't want any confusion about the vibe we're shooting for and who is or isn't an active member. It was so fucking all over the place and felt so crowded and deadweight that we almost had to overcorrect in a lot of ways. I have nothing but love for and ESPECIALLY Lucas, Kitty, Dirty. The roots absolutely do matter and the idea of a HoF type induction on occasion is most likely in FaZe's future. Right now we need the clean slate. 2) I didn't say we didn't have time around or near Kalei, what I said was we didn't have a chance to connect in a genuine or meaningful way. First of all you can't really truly connect in a genuine organic way with someone who was recruited to your team without you ever having spoken to them. It's sort of forced off the rip. Second in that picture of us bare in mind I HATED FaZe at this time. And the general vibe with everyone was distain and just eye roll and NOT GOOD VIBES. So in these environments on set, I'm showing up, filming and dipping the fuck out. It's not fun, we're not friends filming videos. It's a trash ass vibe. IN NO PART due to Kalei. 3) The feeling the creation of the original FaZe House NY gave you is exactly the ONLY THING I care to restablish at FaZe. We took a risk, a huge risk. We pushed the entire market forward. WE WERE THE MARKET. WE MADE THE MARKET. And us living in the future and being so many peoples north star. A place to point and say "look, this is possible, you can do this, I don't have to be ashamed of this hobby" that my friend is the only fucking thing in my life that's ever mattered to me. Standing for something, having a vision and pursuing it, with pure intent. The only goal we had was building FaZe into what our idea of it was at the time, what felt right, what WE WANTED. It didn't matter the countless tweets about being fucking losers, nerds, not going to make it we got from the hardcore Trickshotting purests. It feels a lot like some of these messages I'm seeing the last couple days. Which makes me even more bullish on FaZe, my friends, myself, the vision. This is the entire reason we're doing this man. You'll see it eventually. 4) It is so beyond frustrating that you, a person who's been so loyal to the brand believes we ever sold anything. My brother there was never a "selling process." I personally was literally written out of documents and had my shares in FaZe STOLEN before it ever became a legitimate company. I was never allowed to vote on anything, sign anything, I never had any say in how the money we made was spent, who was hired... NOTHING. EVER. This was hijacked from us. My shares weren't reinstated until 2 years ago before we went public, because at that point they legally had to. 5) We can agree on the fact that the members you mentioned deserved a better exit. We shouldn't have ever had to let it get to this point. We don't deserve to be in this position either. We really had no choice, but to do it the way we did it or else it would've been leaked and if spaced out wouldn't have had the same impact or sent the same message. WE NEEDED TO DO THIS MAN. If you believe any of us wanted to/ we're happy to do this then you have to believe we're terrible, evil people. 6) It means everything to me to hear the way you speak about the impact FaZe has made on your entire life. Again I clearly recognize this, respect this and value this or you wouldn't have gotten a 10 minute monolouge and a 20 paragraph essay as a response. I love you man and I just ask you trust the vision. All I want to do is inspire a future generation and continue to push this industry forward. I live in the future, FaZe lives in the future, that's what it's all about, that's what it's always been about. 7) Again it warms my heart to see you hold up a tank top from our first merch collection. To clearly see FaZe is what connected you to the outside world, we were your catalyst into a lot of your friendships, music tastes and I'm sure the influence/ impact didn't end there. THAT IS AMAZING DUDE. And I legitimately love you for this. But try and understand I can confidentally say we have probably netted exactly ZERO fans as passionately as you over the last 5 years. What would have inspired them? The pizza rolls? The endless rotation of brand deals? All the random recruits and signings? It's fucked up man. This brand/ team lost it's heart and soul and I'm desperate to recreate that. We needed this. 8) I promise you I will die before I let this fail.
